Walk in customers and the price was the cheapest in the old town for a last min booking and they had a lot of availability for a weekend.

The tour guide Wlodick (sorry if name spelt wrong) was an incredible story teller, I could have listen to him talk all day. The detail was fantastic!!

Salt mines is a definite must trip. Joined a mixed group - well organised for coach trip - had stickers to denote languages. Only 2 in the English group, our tour of the salt mines left 30 mins after others. Not a problem except we should have been warned it would surface in a completely different place to that where we entered!!!! Completely flummoxed as to how to return to bus! Was a good 7 minute walk away - through a park, up steps, And over a road. Google maps was a necessity, but not happy at holding rest of party up. Prior info was a must. However the trip was fantastic, great guide, very interesting and informative, and amazing statues and carvings. Was a great day to choose as it was really hot outside but beautifully cool inside. A tour not to be missed.

Went on the tour of the Jewish Quarter with Dale. He was a friendly, engaging and informative guide, and the tour flew by despite being several hours long. A genuine pleasure, harrowing subject matter notwithstanding.

We booked the Auschwitz tour with Krakow City Tours well in advance, for convenience because what you are buying is the round trip, and the ticket because the Guide is from the museum. The problem is that you think it’s just showing up at the pickup point for the transfer, but the surprise is that until the day before, they don’t have confirmed the entrance to the museum. The company takes care that the museum does not notify you until the day before the visit, and on the museum website makes it clear that they are not responsible for cancellations made by companies outside the museum. To me, they're making a deceptive sale, because they sell tickets without having them confirmed and the problem is they don't warn you.
This information is not collected at any time on the Krakow city tours website, keep in mind that it does not happen to us, since being the last day we had no room to maneuver, there were no longer online tickets in Spanish directly with the museum.
If I went again, I would go directly by train and buy the ticket online, the Guide is the same because it is the museum.

I went today, and we started from the fact that it has been raining and at the meeting point there was no one on the bus indicating that my excursion (civitatis) was there... it occurred to us to ask a man who was smoking outside who turned out to be the driver and he told us to go up and ask what they gave us for the tickets... so I deduce that if you don't speak English or don't think to ask, you'll stay on the ground. The guide who was on the bus was great, but the guide in the fields was local and spoke Spanish. Just by saying that in both fields we have finished earlier than expected, you get the idea….dry, on the ball and has made the visit very uninteresting. If I did it on my own with an audio guide it would have been the same (obviously without the bus transportation and having the tickets taken from you) if the visit itself is usually not very slow, in this case it has been too fast... I It's very annoying to have done it with this woman, if we get another guide (for example Enrique, the one on the bus) I'm SURE that it makes it more, much more interesting... it's a shame to have visited this significant memorial museum with such an extremely dry, concise guide. for the explanations and wanting to win Usain Bolt's mark...a real shame indeed

We have just experienced a surreal situation with this office, in particular with an operator named Karol who, despite having a confirmation in email from civitatis and his colleague from HIS office who reconfirmed a tour to the salt mines for us. Long story short, there was a problem with our reservation which was canceled by mistake. We immediately sent a communication to civitatis and at the same time we physically showed up at the Cracow City Tours office where a man named Karol welcomed us. He immediately confirmed to us that he had read the case but that his partner (at that time absent) was treating it and that he did not want to get involved since he had not treated it from the beginning. He invited us to return a few hours later to speak directly with his partner. Finally we received confirmation from Civitatis for the reserved date and at the same time another confirmation from this famous colleague who assured us that everything was in order. Well, we arrived at the tour pickup point and the reservation was not there. We went to the office with the guide to find out what had happened and suddenly Karol himself arrived and acted as if he didn't know us. Despite the double confirmation, Mr. Karol, with an arrogant tone and very dry manner, did not allow us to get on the bus without contacting civitatis or his companion. We spent a long time showing him the emails and the confirmation but suddenly he got up and simply went to the bus where he abandoned us without solving the case and leaving us stranded for not wanting to get involved in the matter. We have lost a tour, a day of vacation, stress, nerves, everything... We come from Fuerteventura, we will not have many other chances to return to the salt mines and this man ruined our last day in Krakow. I find it regrettable what has happened, the lack of empathy, the poor communication between the operators of Cracow City Tours and the lack of professionalism with which they treated us.

I toured Auschwitz-Birkenau in Spanish. The Margarita guide was very boring and the tour skipped several parts. For the second half of the tour I confused the meeting point (for me the Guide was unclear) and they left me behind, missing half the tour. Finally I stayed alone, toured everything I wanted and returned by Lajkonik bus from the museum for 22PLN. I do not recommend it, go by your own means and do everything to your liking! The Guide said nothing but what is written in the infographics

An agency embarrassment, after having charged the Reservation in advance several months before, arrives on the day of the excursion and you are canceled less than 24 hours in advance. Pretty expensive excursion by the way. We are tourists who are not indefinitely in the country and leave you with no reaction time to replan anything.

Worst organization ever. They ask you to be at the meeting point at 5.30 for departure at 5.45 and start giving tickets to people in the 6.oo tour first because the group doing the salt mines and Auschwitz combo is larger. Choose any other tour operator.
If you buy only Auschwitz they anyhow make you use the same bus that goes to the salt mines.
The description says you may leave your stuff in the bus while you visit but the bus is going away with other people.

Two stars and not just one because the Auschwitz tour was held anyway, unlike other reviews I read. However, the quality was decidedly low. Once arrived at the destination, the about 50 participants on the bus were divided into 2 groups, one entrusted to a real Guide in Italian, prepared and suitable, the other instead to a Polish lady who spoke uncertain Italian, who throughout the day translated the very narrow explanations of a Polish Guide who followed us the whole time.
Result: the whole experience was not fluid, poor in content and emotions, with a cold, detached, notional explanation and with a lot of downtime! Despite having paid the same share of the
