Beautiful city. Join a walking tour to see the whole city. The main square is full of great cafes and restaurants. The waiters are professional in their servings. Beautiful buildings. Nice and clean city. Safe to walk about.

Had a fantastic time in Krakow, Phil arranged our airport transfers, salt mine tour and Auschwitz tour. Perfectly on time transfers, Eddy who took us to the Salt mine was fantastic and gave us some amazing restaurant recommendations. Phil himself took us on the Auschwitz tour and was very knowledgeable. If you visit this fantastic place please use these guys!!

I booked the trip to the death camps from home. I was picked up as arranged by a pleasent young man in a lovely minibus who took us to Auschwitz a journeyof approx 1 hour 15 mins. We were handed over to a tour guide on arrival and everything went as planned , We were given a small packed lunch. After a harrowing day we had a quiet journey back to our pick up point. a visit to Auschwitz is not for everyone. It is harrowing and heartbreaking. Personally I will never forget this trip. You can read all the books, see all the films and documentaries but untill you visit yourself and feel the pain and suffering o0f the victimks of the mass murder you cannot realise what hell on earth was like for them

My son and I visited Auschwitz- Birkenau with Krakow Tours. Obviously this is a very challenging destination but we both felt that Phil and Eddie (two British Ex- Pats) provided a well organised day where nothing was too much trouble – we were impressed not only with their knowledge of Auschwitz and the Second World War in Poland, but also of the wider Krakow area and contemporary Polish society. They are eager to share this knowledge with their clients. We had never been to Poland and organised the visit by email from the UK. Phil took care in answering all our questions and provided us with clear instructions re deposit , pick up instructions , documentation required for admittance to the camp etc. Clients are provided with a map and booklet to guide themselves around the main camp before being taken to Birkenau where Phil and Eddie take you to the key areas, explain their functions and answer any questions. This worked well for us – we encountered two of the escorted groups in the main camp which were very large with many people obviously being unable to see the exhibits properly. Using our map we avoided these so we could spend time on what interested us – all exhibits are clearly labelled in English. Don’t miss the blocks with displays outlining the experiences of Jews from different countries – these are clearly labelled on the map. We were driven the short distance to Birkenau where a guide is really required as at first sight it seems a large area of ruins. We thought that Phil and Eddie really brought this dreadful place to life with their knowledge and stories – well done to both. We were not rushed, all questions were answered, they ensured that the group kept together and that no one missed anything. I would advise anyone to book the packed lunch option – our sandwiches were lovely with a good range of yogurts, biscuits etc. to follow. A mark of a good organisation is how it responds to the unexpected. There was a problem with the Mini Bus at the start of the day but Phil got a replacement immediately plus a private car. All pick ups were on time, not one minute was lost and all were able to view the DVD. Both Phil and Eddie are really enthusiastic about their subject and communicate this to their clients. We have been on many tours / escorted visits in Europe and further afield and in our opinion ‘Krakow Tours’ offer an outstanding service. We would recommend them without hesitation.
