Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful country. Friendly people. Extremely polite, helpful tour guides/ drivers. Very affordable! My 2nd time visiting Krakow and would certainly visit again. Auschwitz and salt mines are a must see. The Christmas Market is also beautiful if visiting late November!

The tour was really good value for money. The bus picked me up from the hotel, took me to the camp and drove me back home. It was really well organised and the tour guide was so knowledgeable.
It’s a hard visit, to remember how people were treated and killed, but a necessary visit to understand the history. Would highly recommend.

Very disorganised, booked collection from hotel but had to walk in pouring rain to a meeting point. This was so late in the day that second part of the tour, which meant the most to us, was cut short as Auschwitz 2 was closing. The English speaking driver spoke no English and had absolutely no idea what was going on. Chaos at the meeting point outside Auschwitz. That said the tour guide was excellent and very apologetic that she couldn’t complete the tour as we were so late.
I would highly recommend the tour but do choose another tour operator.

Beforehand, the organisation getting into Auschwitz was very poor. There were too many people trying to gain access and it was chaotic queueing. Once in, it was very good and the tour guide was very impressive and knowledgeable.

Firstly let me make this quite clear in no way, shape or form, is this review a reflection of the absolute horror that occurred here or of the excellent work the memorial organisations are doing to portray the terrible things that were done.
This review is purely on the tour itself. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a good job. That said I was totally unmoved by the experience in Auschwitz camp 1, This sounds horrible but the reason for this is that the tour was so rushed and commercial that there was no time to stop and look at the exhibits and reflect on the terrible events that took place there. There is a courtyard in camp 1 that is dubbed "The courtyard of death" There is a plaque outside that clearly asks that visitors should be silent as a mark of respect. When we entered the courtyard our guide continued to narrate her script, and school children were milling about and chatting. I felt that this was a total lack of respect for those that had been murdered.
Birkenau camp 2 was a totally different experience and left me in tears. Our guide once again was very knowledgeable and this time there was plenty of time to take in the information, look around and reflect.
If I visit this venue again I will avoid the guided tour and visit on my own in order to see what needs to be seen. I recommend anyone planning on going to do the same.

Everything was professional. Everything was explained in great detail. The explanations were repeated. Questions were answered. Everything was timely and organized. Everyone’s English was fantastic. The driving of the bus was safe. The bus was modern and safe with 3-point seat belts and smelled good. Plenty of breaks were provided for toilets and food. I am a very critical person and I really have nothing to critique.
