I used this church for both visiting and worshipping in whilst in Krakow. Until 11am the church is only open to those who worship. After then the church is split into two, for prayer and for tourists. For tourists entry is by ticket and theres an extra cost to take photos. It is well worth a look inside as it... More

This is one of the most beautiful churches I've been inside. Lovely. The main landmark of Krakow and one of it's most beautiful buildings. Highly recommend seeing it! It was built in the 14th century. Amazing. Every hour a trumpeter comes out to play from the taller of the two towers. Neat. I highly recommend it.

A really lovely place to visit, located right in the Main Market Square of Krakow. Very easy to find, but most of all we loved the man who plays the trumpet after the bells ring!

The church is worth the 10 zloty entrance fee just to see the detail in the architecture and the altar. You're not supposed to take photos of the altar and guards are very strict about it. It functions as a church where locals go to pray, so worth keeping in mind.

As soon as I got to the Central square then immediately marveled by the beauty of architecture.Monuments, sculptures and fountains, it's all there in Krakow.A lot of narrow streets and alleys which is not rubbish, street.Even saw a few street artists.A lot of cafes and shops with Souvenirs in the style of Krakow.

so much to like about this church: the altar, the painting walls and ceilings, -- reminded me of Sainte Chapelle in Paris.

A beautiful Church, with rather officious staff ( guards) not too friendly. Unfortunately whilst looking up in amazement items were stolen, not very valuable, but none the less, taken. The staff just grinned as they were well aware of what happened.

What an absolutely stunning building, there really are no words for it. Possibly the most beautiful Church I've ever visited, brought a tear to the eye. You can go in and light a candle for 2zl and say a prayer, or pay 10zl (additional 5zl for photo pass) to visit the 'tourist' section.

The church is in the main market square so is very central and accessible. There is a 10 zloty admission fee (£2), which you buy in a ticket office opposite. This is one of the most beautiful churches inside I have ever seen - the detail and colours are simply stunning. Definitely worth a visit!!
