Very pretty, very solemn. I paid extra to be allowed to take pictures. After I’d taken a couple, I started to feel as though I shouldn’t be, so stopped. Still worth a visit if you’re in the Old Town

Worth a visit for a small price. Quick and beautiful. Undergoing work at the moment but being done very discreetly and doesn’t affect the visit.

St Mary’s Basilica was closed for our visit so we didn’t see the inside. I could sit in Main Square just looking at tbhe Basilica and on the hour the trumpet announce the hour from one of the windows on the tower.

You can peep in from the back but worth paying to see the alta screens and windows from closer up. More info in the guide books. Watch the bugler from the square every hour.

It is worth every penny of the 10 zl to visit the interior of this church. The walls and celings are beautifully painted in deep, ruch colours. The altar is stunning and the intricately carved, painted choir stalls are the most beautiful I have ever...More

Dear Sir! Unfortunately you are not allowed to use a tripod. The rule helps us keeping control of the professional pictures taken for publications (for which you need an agreemant from the archives). Kind regards.
