    Magical place. Must see.
I visited Krakow for the first time. One of the most beautiful squares in the world. A lot to see during the day but also at night because everything is nicely lit, which adds a nice atmosphere. Horse-drawn carriages run in the city center, which also gives a unique atmosphere. In addition to the historical attractions, there are also plenty of good restaurants and coffee shops.

Just half of it seen but "quite enough" :)
Really "quite awesome" is the spaciousness of this huge square despite actually having covered only half of it and learning about the other half some time later from some of the postcards that I had bought around the square (so yes one certainly living up to its reputation of "the largest" among all the Old Towns' squares of Europe). In any case, with many colorful heritage buildings around (each one contributing to the nice beauty of the square to go with its great size), what fascinated me more than all those buildings is the "tallest structure" on one corner of the square, namely St. Mary's Basilica with its two "different-height" towers (really quite a unique and maybe the "only such" frontal view of a cathedral I would say) although yes it was the smaller church behind it and not the St. Mary's itself which I entered briefly (due to some timing issue for the Basilica). At about a 10-minute walk from the Wawel Royal Castle (after like an all-day visit there finishing with the way down the Dragon's Den beside the river), just as "lively & enjoyable" as this square is the street leading to it from the Castle (with actually quite plenty of souvenir shops along the street), and also cannot be missed along that street is a church with a number of "saint statues" placed in a row above its fence outside (at about halfway between the Castle & the square).

I love Krakow center very much. It`s one of the best cities I have ever visited and it looks really gorgeous. But I was a little bit disappointed with crowds and hourses. I think Krakow would be much better without those hourses

    Worth a visit
A beautiful little square in the heart of Kraków, surrounded by impressive architecture and a nice mixture of restaurants. You can get a horse and carriage ride here to the castle (make sure to haggle! We got the price down from 450 to 150!), and there is a cute little market you can wander around. The church within the square is also worth a visit. It's free of charge.

Like stepping back in time. Go at different times of the day to truly appreciate it.
What a beautiful Old Town Square. This was nicer than I thought. Pretty especially at night. Well kept. Go at different times. Early morning, the Square is peaceful and good for photography. Later in the day, there are more people around and you can enjoy the atmosphere. The Square is lined with historical buildings, stunning architecture, restaurants, shops and more. Clean and well kept. Night time was my favourite when it was all lit up. Some parts are paved so mind how you walk on the cobbled areas.

    Easter markets were great
Stunning buildings and plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to explore surrounding the square. We spent most of our evenings around here , enjoying the sunsets and the hearing the man with the trumpet play a tune. We were lucky enough to experience the Easter markets situated in the square, there was many food markets to eat from and many stores selling various handmade items. Loved it.

    Fantastic First Visit to Poland
Had a wonderful trip, miss communication with guide tour made us miss the Salt Mine tour our group entered through the side entrance and we were standing at the front as instructed and they left without us. This was very disappointing but the Auschwitz tour was amazing. Packed in a lot of experience touring 2 days. Stayed in the Jewish Quarter seems one of the best streets. The Entrance was a bit scary old close on second floor. The apartment was spotless and very modern fantastic for the price.

    Huge bustling square
With the Cloth Hall sat in the centre this is an impressive square. It was full of Easter stalls when we visited. Christmas markets must be epic. Surrounded by bars and restaurants many with outside heating and blankets for when it’s chilly. A good place to mooch around and admire the architecture.

Beautiful place with plenty to see and do, lots of pubs and restaurants situated around it. Extremely clean. Some absolutely fantastic photo opportunities, the only thing that let it down for me was people offering you drugs on every corner.

Visited in the evening it looked spectacular, enjoyed taking on all the square had to offer, awesome. The cloth hall was an amazing place, loved that you could look at the stalls without feeling pressured to buy.

We visited the square New Years Eve. It was very crowded though it never felt unsafe. The Christmas Market was still operating, though a few booths were closed. There was a nightly Ukraine Demonstration, which our hotel told us is peaceful. There were no fireworks, as apparently people complained the noise disturbs their dogs. Restaurants were packed and it was difficult finding a place to eat. We ended up in an Indian Restaurant.

Overall the square is a must see, just not on New Years Eve.
