Extremely popular place during the warm season. Many people come over there to have a time outside with friends/couples and enjoy the view. You can see the old town very clearly from the hill. Please bear in mind that you have to climb the hill and the road is quite good to reach to hill but not the highest point... More

We found out about this mound in a guide book and decided to check it out. The Mound was supposed to be the buried mound of King Krak although a twentieth century archeological dig did not discover any signs of a Royal buried!! It is situated across the Vistula from Kraków old town and a fair walk south across the... More

The mound is impressive if you take the historical context into consideration. It was built in the 8th century and is still standing. It's located in a suburban neighborhood with a bare minimum of attractions, it is however a nice, albeit long, walk and it affords excellent views of the city. Despite of what any reviewer here might say it... More

We followed the local tourist walking route from the maps dotted around town and stumbled across the mound really. Nice bright day for some fantastic views of Kraków, I wouldn't plan a visit specifically to see it as there really isn't much to it but if your passing it's worth a stop.

I love this place. You don't expect this place to have such a view. It was a bit hard to find, but we had a picnic there with an amazing view. Surely I'd recommend this place to visit, especially in summer.

The concept of visiting the mound is good in theory, however, upon arrival it is much smaller than you might expect. It took us about 10 mins to arrive by car (we got an uber) and we were up and down in about the same time. The man selling tickets was VERY rude, making us feel bad for not having... More

Amazing to watch sunset and night city lights. Take a pizza with you and you won't go anywhere but just see city traffic from the top. Whenever you have some spare time you may walk around the hills and quarries.

Krakus Mound is one of 4 mounds in Cracow, as I heard, and the very first one that I "climbed". I don't recall such attraction in any other Polish city so it is a nice idea to take a walk there.

It was fine, nothing else. If you happen to be passing by it is a nice place to stop by, however, for me it was not worth taking the tram to go there. It had a nice view though.
