Trendy looking cafe that seemed cute and cosy inside, but my wife's hot chocolate was incredibly sweet. Awful for a potential diabetic. My cake and latte were good however, so just be cautious as we have had much better hot chocolates elsewhere in Krakow.

Wheras the beautiful Old Town complete with Main Market Square and the Little Square and it's cute maze of streets is awash with tourists Plac Wolnica is probably the complete opposite, you are more likely to find the locals here ,this is most definitely a place that they let their hair down. You find this great Square in the Kazimierz District... More

It's a central square, a commercial area, very convenient for travelers (to find drugstores, restaurants, etc). A lot of people around, and easily reachable by public transport.

Nice square to sit and rest a little on a warm summerday. Many people passing by, an statue and a lot of pigeon who are looking for shade, water and food. The shops and restaurants are nice and not that touristic. There is a nice vintageshop with vintage postcards and pottery, a bakery with delicious Polish bread and cake, a supermarket,... More

This has to be one of the busiest area's of Krakow, the square is awash with cafe"s, bar's , pub's and restaurant's. Were as the main maket squares are pristine and cute this is the complete opposite, rough and ready but with a fantastic atmosphere. We were here Sunday night /Monday morning and this whole area was bouncing, we went... More

So according to what I heard, the real "new" square in the Kazimierz district is where all the hipster bars are opening up, leaving Plac Wolnica behind because there is a sense that the latter is the historic center of the district, and the hipsters want to disavow any connection to the old stuff, blah, blah, blah. To me, Place... More

We were lucky there was a nice foodmarket while visiting Plac Wolnica. Otherwise it will be quite average.

This Square is located in the Jewish district near the Museum of transport, There are a few cafés, restaurants and shops around but not many, The Church of Corpus Christi with its Mighty interior is very near as well.

When you're for the first time in Kraków you are usually charmed by Rynek Glowny (Main Square) and the surrounding Old Town of Kraków. And righfully so. But Krakow is actually a conglomerate of old towns, which include Podgórze on the other bank of Vistula (confirmed as a town in 1784 but with object dating back to even 8th century),... More
