    Fun experience
Escape room type activity. Went as 2 adults and one teen and were put along with 2 other adults in our group. Was nervous as didn’t know what to expect as others who had just finished looked terrified and there was a lot of screaming. We picked the green room and it was defo adrenaline pumping fun, funny too.

    I got scared. 5 stars!
The title sums it up. We was doing the “green version” and it was extremely scary. The actors are a little bit physical, but they informed us about that beforehand, so we knew that before we started. The feeling of that anything can happend and that not many things are “of limits» made it scarier. We paid to have fun and get scared and they delivered.

    Terrifying (in a good way)
Was taken here on my birthday, thought we were going to a spa and what a shock this turned out to be. Never been so scared in my life but was so much fun and so glad we did it. Definitely recommend if you like a good scare

    VERY scary
Terrifying! We sadly only managed one room, as we were both too scared to continue, it is PITCH black, i’m not sure how safe it really is, but never mind. The entrance and booking desk are dusty and run down, perhaps this is to add to the experience?

    Terrifyingly fun!
Two of us were just looking for something to do to kill some time before our flight home and we are SO glad we found this! So much fun, absolutely terrifying, all we could talk about for the rest of the day! Already looking at booking a trip to Krakow specifically to bring more friends to have a go!

Scariest and funniest attraction in Krakow
I found Lost Souls Alley on trip advisor whilst planning my solo trip to Krakow and really wanted to visit. However, whilst reading the “rules” on their website I wasn’t sure whether to try it with being a woman on my own and I definitely didn’t want to go in alone! I called in at Lost Souls Alley (which is in the very centre of the old town) to see what was what. Despite putting the address in Google maps it’s hard to find. It’s not very well signposted and you have to go down an alleyway and up a flight of stairs to find the reception. The guy was very helpful and explained that 6 people are allowed per booking, so if I looked online for a time slot that had less than 6 spaces it would mean that someone else had already booked that slot. The booking system is my only complaint regarding LSA. I wanted to book the green version but it turns out you can only book pink/green and on arrival the whole group must decide which version they want to do. So if you turn up on the day and the other people outnumber you, you either have to cancel or do a version that you don’t want to! I booked a particular time slot for the following day but later received a phone call from LSA. They had noted that I was British but I’d booked on a time slot with Polish people. They offered me another time slot with English speaking people. I really appreciated the call and accepted the change of time slot but it makes me wonder why they don’t offer Polish/English/other language options on their booking system? The experience itself was amazing and very scary. Don’t expect too much in terms of “escape room” experiences. It’s very basic in so much as you’re usually looking for a key or way to escape the room. It’s more about the fear than challenging puzzles 🫣 It’s very dark and if you’re doing the green (hands on) experience the actors will touch you and try to separate you from the group but they won’t hurt you! I don’t want to give too much away, but the first room is probably the scariest because it’s pitch black and you don’t know what to expect. After that it becomes more scarily fun! The website warns that you might get injured. I scraped my arm and hand whilst running away from actors, but that was my own doing. I found it funny that the guy at reception had an antiseptic spray to hand so minor injuries are obviously common. You can pay a small amount to get photos of your experience shared on Flickr. You get a password and after 4 days you can access CCTV stills from your experience. It’s clear that no thought has gone into choosing these stills as they’re not the best images, but as you get over 100 images it’s reasonable value for money. The experience itself is 5 stars and I’d definitely do it again and recommend it to others. The booking system could do with some improvements and I don’t know why they don’t signpost themselves better from the street as they’d probably get more ad hoc bookings.

    Best Horror House ever!
One of the best horror experiences of my life. The rooms are wonderfully decorated with much attention to details, the actors play very well and create individual narratives for each show, so that each group gets an individual experience. Definitely worth checking out!

    Beyond scary
My partner and I are huge fans of horror movies and escape rooms so we were really excited to go here. There was supposed to be another group in our timeslot but they never showed up so we went just the two of us. We were debating between pink and green and at the suggestion of the guy on reception we opted for green. He was really helpful in explaining the options, what was involved, no refunds, etc. The room you wait in for the show to start was scary enough and the build up of not knowing when it would start or what was on the other side of the door was intense! When we got into the first room we couldn’t find the key to get into the next one so spent a good few minutes in there and the actor was terrifying and did not break character once. I realised pretty quickly I was not as brave as I thought I was and we asked to leave before we even made it to the second room. Someone came to get us within a couple of minutes and the actor in that room stayed in character right until the end. The guy on reception offered us to come back and go with a group later to try again. We declined but really appreciated the offer, considering it was completely my choice to leave and they had no obligation to! All in all, everybody was great and the decor everywhere was fantastic - the experience was just a little too scary for me. Would definitely recommend for the less faint of heart.

EMOTIONAL 4 DAYS IN AND AROUND KRAKOW
Day 1. Went to Schindler's factory. Very informative but could have been anywhere. No real sense of the factory. Set the scene for the second day. Auschwitz Berkenhau excellent tour. The horror took a few days to sink in, but has stayed with us since. Salt mine. Excellent tour, amazing place, probably especially so after the previous 2 days of emotion. We took a free Old Town tour (pay what you think it is worth at the end) to fill the time before heading for the airport. This was excellent as the knowledgeable guide worked very hard and enthusiastically in order to get his wage. If we go again, we would take this or similar tour first as it gave more understanding to the other days. Christmas market good and relaxing after the harrowing experiences. Don't normally take tours, but they are necessary and well worth it for these sites.

    Fun/scary experience
Recommend doing this if you like horror films/scary experiences and escape rooms. Would not recommend if you’re claustrophobic and get easily scared. Great experience, better than we expected and the attention to detail is impressive. Escape room elements are fairly simple but made difficult as you’re in the dark majority of time and have the characters messing around and scaring you the whole time. In the green version the actors get in your face and grab/touch you which adds to the experience. We did it in a group of 4 and loved it. Depending on how long you take to complete the tasks and move to the next room; dictates how long the experience lasts. We were out in just over half an hour.

We visit at this place seven years ago and it was a really really good experience. We went there with our teen kids and it was super cool so when coming back to Cracow this year we wanted to do that again. It was definitely different that what we remembered. It was the worst experience we’ve had, we asked for no touch version Pink. not only that they were touching us all the time they grab my husband and pushed him around the room. 2 People from our group decided to leave early because it was too much. I remember a guy with chainsaw next to my ear just going and going. I really did not enjoy it, they wanted to force my husband to eat something and when you tell them to stop they do not get it. I found it quite aggressive and it was not necessary as the place is scary enough and I like scary.

This was an awesome experience. Really easy to book. There were three of us in our late forties a d we were teamed up with three younger women and together opted for the green version. There was physical contact, but nothing too rough and I would describe it as being man handled rather than being grabbed. They had a little electricity wand which was scary, but I don’t think they actually used it on anyone. The whole thing takes place in almost complete darkness and you have to crawl and climb at certain points so there is a risk of injury but we were fine. Be prepared to get close to your team-mates. It’s surprising how little you care about personal space when you think someone is chasing you with a chain saw. Hubby seemed to like it though - like I said - we were teamed up with some nubile younger women! Apologies to one of them as I thought it was his arse I was smacking in the crawl tunnel and not hers. Highly recommended.

Went on a 3 day trip to Krakow with my friend and this is the best thing we did! We found out about it on social media before coming to Krakow, and we didn’t really know what to expect. We didn’t want to read up on it too much beforehand and after looking on the website, we’re quite nervous and decided to brave it.

Lost Souls is a mix of Haunted House/Escape Room/Horror Maze. It lasts around half a hour. My heart was racing the whole time, and although it was terrifying, it was also fun and I’ve never experienced anything like it!

We opted for the ‘green’ level where the actors do ‘touch’ you. This added to the experience and would definitely recommend this option, it was not too excessive and made it more realistic! They do not try to hurt you, but will back you into corners, grab you but most of the time they were guiding us in the right direction of how to escape as we couldn’t think straight!

I’m not usually a person that gets scared but there is something for everyone: darkness, claustrophobia, being chased, weapons, but for me the worst was the fear of the unknown and apprehension.

It is difficult to make this sound enjoyable but honestly it was so much fun, and was the best thing we did all weekend! The whole theme of the bar sets the scene of the experience really well (cheap pint too). There was somewhere secure where we could leave our belongings which is locked and monitored by staff.

If you are coming to Krakow, make doing this experience a priority! I have never experienced anything like it, we had a great time!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yep, five out of five. This has to be one of the funniest activities that we have ever done, not in a long time, but ever. The value, the set up, the scene, the actors, truly a brilliant idea on top of escape rooms. We were in a group of six and went for the green version. So they will touch you and they will in some cases man or woman handle you. But belive us, it is well worth it. Expect to be in the dark. Expect to be on your knees. Expect to be hiding in things. Expect to be crawling through things.Expect to be climbing over things. Expect not to be on your own. So don't go to over dressed. But we did not expect the ending. Book in advance just to make sure you do not miss out. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Anouther five, just for good measure.

The building/decor/costumes are great but I've done similar horror experiences in other cities/countries and this one is very poorly planned & executed.

In a general sense, it should be obvious (even in the dark) how to get from room to room in order to keep you moving & keep that sense of fear going, and here it really isn't- that means that after 20-30secs of terror when a monster appears, you're then hanging around in the room with said monster for up to 2mins. It kills the atmosphere again & again & again...

Far more importantly though, at one point during the experience 2 monsters grabbed my girlfriend, forced her into a wheelchair & genuinely tried to forcefeed her (hopefully!) empty drug capsules. When she spat them out, they held her nose & really attempted to make her swallow them. Incredibly, she "had" to swallow them in order to get the key to keep us moving! Does anyone seriously need to explain why you can't do that??? She continued to refuse, they continued to push, I had to intervene & frankly they are lucky they didn't get a kicking right then & there. Again, it totally killed the atmosphere.

Finally, the photos... They push you to buy photos of your experience at the end. We did this, received a Flickr code & instructions on how to access them after 3-4 days. The photos have never appeared on Flickr & its quite obvious that the organisers simply didn't bother to upload them. They refuse to answer my messages about it or, it seems (based on social media), anyone else that they habitually do this to. In my opinion its down to sheer incompetence/lack of standards- if not, then its outright thievery.

So in short, avoid this place- it's very very poor. It was probably pretty cool & well thought-out when they first opened up & had to maintain standards. Now, with the prime location & thousands of reviews everywhere, they don't care about quality (or ethical standards) at all :(
