Well worth a visit, out of the town. The 134 bus goes from the National museum to the zoo, very cheap fare. Animals well looked after and plenty of space, there's a children's zoo.

The zoo itself was ok, with lots of different animals - but in way too small cages. The food isn't great either. Worth a visit anyway, though.

you need to go to Krakow Football Stadium about a 15 min walk from the centre or catch a bus/tram there and there's a bus will take you directly to the zoo
