We took the tram here. The Centennial Hall is interesting and we looked around it. Also nearby are the Japanese Gardens. In the summer there are fountains that swirt happily to music giving a fun display. It is a good place to relax and enjoy the weather. We did visit this winter but summer is the best time to enjoy... Close to the zoo so worth going to both venues. Built in 1913 from concret blocks and the history of this building, why it was built, what happened during the war and what has been done since is well documented and filmed. A very interesting morning.

The building is impressive and still serves for various functions. There's an exhibit about its history and it is possible to visit the seating areas and take in the size of the hall.

Interesting building hosting all kinds of events. We were there when the One Love Festival took place so it was pretty crowded. You can easily get lost inside, there is much to explore! Also the park in the neighborhood is great for a walk.

I had a lovely day (even though it was raining) in these gardens and surrounds. I am not on my laptop or I would share my beautiful pictures with you.

Caught tram 4 [3zl] towards zoo [1 stop short] Went to tour entrance but were turned away. Found free [legit] way in further round into an exhibition where we enjoyed inside of this vast early rc building and snack/coffee. Beware some of the loos are shared. Outside nice lake with excellent fountain display [said to be lit up at night... More

One is not able to fully appreciate just how big and carefully thought out this place is until you access the building and someone explains it. One of the historical buildings recently refurbished, it is now in a great state with state of the art finishes and restorations

The Hala Stulecia (don't know where they got 'Ludowa') is easily accessible by the #10 tram to Biskupin, from downtown. Or so I'm told. I walked both ways, for about two weeks.....it's about 40 minutes and well worth the time. You can go via the river, or via the cathedral islands.....take your pick. Try to be out there by 2pm... Just an exhibition hall, looks nice from outside, inside is an exhibition hall with unfriendly staff, even the waiters/waitresses working in the restaurant outside facing the fountain are unfriendly and do not have any service experience. Nothing special about the place except: The only good thing in there is the fountain, its beautiful and worth the visit
