Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I think this is called the Museum of the history of Lodz now? Anyway, it's Poznanski's palace that he lived in in luxury while his workers struggled with poverty. Enjoyed the Rubenstein rooms and the history of war on the lower floors. Without exception every single member of staff (about 5) we encountered were miserable and unfriendly and actually rather rude. Shame, no need.

As I love history, palaces and the second part of XIX - the first part of XX centuries, it was impressive for me. I adore watching the details of someone’s life from the past: tableware, clothes, furniture, details used in personal offices.
Also, they have there a couple of rooms with Rubinstein’s personal belongings, the Oscar statuette and a place where a classic historical movie about Lódź’s manufactures in the very end of XIX century was shoot.
A great place for nerds like me! 🤓

It's a pity its no longer open to the public. It's a very imposing building on Gdanska and worth a look to see how the other half lived.

Nice building from he outside but no sign of a museum and is a school of music and you can't go inside. Security guard confirmed this.

Marvellous Museum, worth to visit. Even if you have only limited time available during your stay at Lodz.

One of the best monuments in Lodz. You can feel the spirit of the industrial ambiance of Lodz. It is near manufactura where you can also spend several hours
