Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Righteous Among the Nations Monument is an impressive memorial commemorating Poles who helped save Jewish lives during World War II.

This was a great park. A really good place of peace. A place to reflect. It’s a beautiful place to hang out and just think.

Walk around and remember the Survivors and their Families who didn't. People are different but equal.

A tribute to those who survived the ghetto years, a tree planted by a survivor is a great idea, but given the size of the park and the number of trees makes you think. There is a mound to climb so you can see the area. At the other end of the park is a testimony to the number of Poles who helped the persecuted. Their names are on walls which when viewed from above make out the Star of David (Google earth helps here!). The Karski bench is atop the mound.

Very interesting park with a Star of David walls filled with righteous people who helped the Jews. There were paths with names of local Jewish survivors. I had hoped it would have been all Lodz ghetto survivors as my mum is one but I suppose there were too many.

If you visit Łódż you must visit this place. I've read many tens of books about the holocaust but rarely have I visited somwhere so up-lifting and life-affirming. We took our 9 year old son (you would think too young for such an experience) but he asked so many questions that you realised the futility of such evil that perpetrated such barbaric acts. It is and will be in the future an extremely beautiful place. It's natural simplicity mirrors the sublimely heroric acts of the Polish individuals who saved so many lives. May their endeavours and those not so lucky to be saved never be forgotten.

We visited the park after going to the Jewish Cemetery. This park is so beautiful and honors those who survived the Lodz Ghetto and the Polish Righteous Among the Nation. There is also a mound with the famous Jan Karski bench. This a very special and beautiful park and my visit to Lodz would not have been the same without it.

My Mother Halina Elczewska survived the horror of the WW2. Despite her losses and horrid memories she cherished Life , Tolerance and Love for people. Hence the idea for The Park. Every single tree is planted by a survivor! A very unique forest planted by the people from all over the world who came to plant a tree in their beloved Lødz. And yet another tribute to tolerance - The center for Dialogue located in the Park.
Pay a vist. All the survivors and their deceased families deserve it!

It is "must watch" in Łódź if you want to follow Jewish paths in our city. Mystical place with amazing monument and the Karski Bench. Next step must be Jewish Cemetery (Hryzantem Street). It is the big part of our Jewish HISTORY.
