The museum is not enough if you want to get to know some facts about history of Poznan. The trip will take you approximately 30min.

Authentic, real-size cross-cut through early medieval Poznan ramparts. Small, compact but very informative natural archaeological preserve - not a museum! You will get pretty good insight into 1000 years old technological ingenuity and advancement of the first Piast rulers of Poznan. Nice treat for history-lovers...More

Its quite secluded and small - you can get the full tour in 20 minutes. Not much to see, but the display is neat.

This is a really interesting place. It really helped me to understand how the island fortress had been built, what it must have looked like, and the thinking of the people who lived there.
