The small train, maintained by a group of enthusiasts, carries tourists along the shores of the Malta lake to the New Zoo. You can choose between two steam locomotives and one antique diesel. For railway enthusiasts - it's just a must-go.

The train was packed with happy smiley children, a no brainer for parents with young ones then when the weather is good.

It's a unique attraction for rail buffs and amazing way to vie Malta Lake. Lovely way to travel to new Zoo. You can catch it from Rondo Srodka and ride it to New Zoo.

The Maltanka Miniature Railway is seasonal and wasn’t open when we visited in September. Malta Lake is stunning and there is so much to see and do near the lake. There is also a very impressive fountain in the lake.

A very pleasant ride along the lake Malta to the zoo, not only for children. Even visiting outside of the season it wasn't easy to get on.

If you want to come to the zoo with your children you must ride the maltanka train. It's not only the easiest way to get to the zoo, but the coolest one ;)

Though running only during high season, Maltanka narrow-gauge railway is the only reasonable option to get to the Zoo and back. The track runs along picturesque and scenic Malta Lake shore, near the Termy Maltanskie Aquapark, across bushy wastelands and through the dense woods. Everything...More
