- TheChiefManchester, United Kingdom818 contributionsIt's worth a visit if you've never beenIt's worth going if you are in the city. I can only repeat what many of the other reviews have said. A good natured environment where a brief history of the famous croissant is covered. The guys that ran the session were great, had plenty of gags (a few aimed at the Germans which was funny!) and involved pretty much everyone that wanted to participate in the demonstration of the croissant masterclass. I've notice the price has gone up a lot recently, is it worth it? Probably but they should make a concession for kids. Tips, ours was an English speaking session and was packed so get there on time or you might struggle to get a seat on the benching. Due to the renovation going on in the square if you do the 2pm session you'll be able to see that goats at 3pm in the tower as the museum overlooks that area. The tip box comes out at the end so if you think you may want to tip take some cash. Enjoy!Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 30 October 2023
- Ellies1999Derby, United Kingdom198 contributionsGreat! The perfect rainy day activity! Really good tour guides, who were really funny and made the session interesting and informative. They also spoke amazing English. Would recommend to anyone visiting Poznan. Also great value for money at only £7!Visited February 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 15 February 2024
- joeychopsDerby, United Kingdom10 contributionsCroissant museum. A must when in PoznanEveryone who visits Poznan should visit the croissant museum. It was an hour of total fun! We went to the English show at 2pm which is every day during the summer months. Less of a museum. More part cooking demo, part comedy show, part history lesson. Topped off with a magnificent display of wit and sarcasm, along with some gentle, good natured mockery of the various nationalities attending the show. We offered to volunteer and after donning aprons and hats we got to shape the dough and add filling, it was a joyous hour that ended with a taste of the famous St Martins croissant, a certificate and then a view of the famous butting goats. Highly recommend.Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 3 August 2024
- evanDerby, United Kingdom17 contributionsAmazing museum with a comedic twist.Although this 'Museum' wasn't really a museum, (More of a talk/experience) It was still an amazing experience for me and my family. We visited on the 1st of August with an English session. We were welcomed by someone who asked for volunteers. I would highly recommend being a volunteer as it makes it a lot more entertaining. Then the volunteers (including me) were dressed up into chef outfits and each volunteer took their turn to help make a St Martins crossiant. Once we had all taken our turns, we then watched a video about the history of Poznan and that was the end of the experience. The staff were very friendly but funny at the same time and it was an enjoyable experience for all. You also get a whole crossiant if you are the first to answer a question about sharing correctly and everyone else gets around a half a crossiant. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Would recommend.Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 3 August 2024
- BaRPGHPittsburgh, Pennsylvania28 contributionsThe Making of a St. Martin's CroissantI thoroughly enjoyed learning about St. Martin croissants. The two presenters worked well together and, while providing us with history and steps to making the croissants, it was done it a rather clever way that kept those in attendance engaged. As a retired educator I was intrigued as to how the presenters were able to keep about 40 people interested.Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 20 August 2024

This is not a museum! You will spend an hour in one room with another 50 people watching not indeed entertaining show of two performers who keep on making stupid jokes on other people's account or about other cities in Poland. You will not learn anything useful about making a croissant, not about Poznan's history. At the end you are given a tiny piece of their croissant. The whole experience is definitely not worthy the price. I highly do not recommend.

Having heard it was a Croissant “museum” I decided to make it my first stop during my day trip to Poznań. But when I got there and approached the ticket booth, I was immediately confronted by man who told me rather abruptly that it wasn’t “…an exhibition but rather an interactive experience,” and that “if you don’t understand Polish it would be totally pointless for you. We have English tours on weekends, come back then.”
I understand that there’s only certain days of the week the tour is in English. But why call it a museum when it clearly isn’t, and why be so rude when approached? I definitely won’t be returning.

Visited with my friend and we are still wandering why it’s called a museum?!?! (I am happy I am not the only one who thins so).
Doesn’t have nothing of a museum, it’s a theatre show that is held once a day.
It’s more for children then for adults.
Reservation is a MUST (don’t follow the guidelines on their site where it’s stated that is recommended).
We gave a friendly advice to the rude lady at the entrance that it would be nice to mention on the site that reservations are needed. She was very rude, unfriendly and even sarcastic. Traveling often I was extremely surprised by her behavior.
Croissants are delicious, no two ways about it. I advise you to use your money for croissants rather for this “museum”. ;)

We booked the tour, not knowing what to expect, but we were impressed by how fun and immersive listening to an hour talk about St. Martins Croissants could be. The participation parts were a lot of fun. Both presenters were charismatic, energetic, funny, and very entertaining.

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. It was more of a show than anything else. Very informative and done really well. The two guys hosting were absolute jokes, full of little quips, great sense of humour and cultural awarenesss. I would almost describe it as a British sense of humour, some of the references seemed to go over the heads of everyone else in the room! We enjoyed it so much, we’ve already had a go at making our own St Martin croissants at home. Highly recommend.

I had no idea what to expect before coming here. It is definitely not your average museum. It is more like a presentation which is very entertaining and gets the group involved. You learn some local dialect, history and most important of all how to make a St. Martins croissant. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Poznan who wants a bit of a laugh.

Very entertaining tour. Two guys who were running the show were very funny. The tour allowed me to learn a little bit more about Polish, Poznan history and the local dialect. We also made Rogale Marcinskie and tried them afterwards. Well organised.

Hi, is there an English tour tomorrow, that we can join in?
Written 20 June 2019
Are there any hostels or groups that set up group English tours during the week? I won't be there on a weekend but this sounded fun!
Written 16 May 2019
I think it will the best if you email the place directly. Maybe they could join you to some other group? It is definitely worth of trying!

hello. I'm planning to go... do u have vegan croissant?
thanks
Written 22 January 2018
Hi. The focus of the event is to show you the history of this typical dessert, in a funny way.
During the show the just use the traditional recipe. Try or not the croissant (small piece) is up to you.
When the show ends Yo can go to the shop and buy. Maybe there they have a vegan option.
