Beautiful building, surprisingly not located on the main old market, but close enough. If you don't come for worship it's worthwhile to visit shortly.

The building was started in 1260 and is packed with a plethora of masterpieces. The painted ceilings are beautiful. There chapel with a baptismal font at which Nicolaus Copernicus was baptised in 1473.

I love old buildings made of red bricks. It looks like from medieval times. Beautiful unique interior and a tower you can climb - so much fun!

We were able to attend mass here during our recent visit to Torun. A great experience at this historic cathedral. The pipe organ heralded in the procession with a mammoth sound - I think a piece by Widor.

To be honest, this church is not my favoirite in Torun. It is really big but also very close to nearby houses, so it's very difficult to take picture of it. Interior is fine but not so stunning like some other churches in Torun.

This church is beautiful and recommended. The best time to visit is probably in the afternoon (no one in the church at all during our visiting).

altough I marked 'very good' , it is not a must of this very historical city...if you have time and nothing else to do , it is recommendable to visit inside

The caretaker seems to become distraught if you do not close the door firmly, and he has to come over and repeatedly demonstrate slamming the door. If you want to see the church up close you have to pay a fee to be admitted past...More

If you are fit enough, pay 7zl and climb 200+ steps up to the belltower (and then back) and be rewarded with a view over the river and the city wall gates. You'll be sore after though. The bell zone needs more maintenance, its a...More
