A charming area, with cute buildings and ideal to see some local people going around. There are no famous touristic spots. If this is what you're looking for, this isn't the place. But if you wish for some local culture, it's a good option.

Once part of the Royal route, nowdays it's one of the most tourist places in Warsaw. You can feel the glamour of the old capital city and its glory.

This street (hard to write and pronounce) is on the Royal route from the Royal Castle in Old town to the Lazienki summer palace in the suburbs. It's a beautiful street restored from total rubble left after WWII, connecting the Novy Swiat street with the Castle Sq. It's a great street to cool down and walk admiring the Assumption Church,... this is one of the streets that I can recommend to anyone to walk along as on every step you see something important like the Presidential Palace, The Memorial of the catastrophe in Smolensk, few old churches, good restaurants and coffee shops, memorials and just beautifully renewed old buildings along the whole street...

Tastefully renovated, it hosts some of most important building for the state like presidential palace and the most prestigious polish university. Some nice restaurants, cafes and hotels are located here too. Good place for a lazy stroll with nice photo opportunities.
