This beautiful Castle located in the heart of old town, it's part of all the big moments in Polish history. There is a big exhibition in the basement of the Castle for free that show how the castle has been destroyed and rebuilt in different moments and how it still part of the great moment of Polish politics.

This is very nice place to visit, they keep the old things very well, when you come inside, you can see everything as bedroom, living room, conference room ... for the king, but not good service when they don't speak English and i feel i'm not be welcome in here

When Hitler planted bombs in the Royal castle walls everything was leveled.. People raised money in the central square then everyone helped to build it again! Great story and really pretty castle!

The Royal Castle can be described as the heart of Poland as it was the home of the Polish Monarchy until Poland's Partitioning by its three neighbours some 220 years ago. It's displays are rich and numerous. It is amazing how various people managed to store away numerous fragments of internal fittings to help in the restoration of the castle... More

My wife and I paid 30zl to visit this "museum" in early January. We had wanted to visit the castle but it's apparently closed for renovation and open limited days. (What we were told and what was listed were inconsistent in regards to open dates). The carpets are moderately labeled in English but the rest of the house has only... More

Really worth seeing. The museum is not too big. It is located in city center so I really recommend to check it out while you are there!

Having learnt the history of Warsaw during our stay it is hard to believe that this castle was raised to the ground and then rebuilt decades later with the help of historical paintings and the sheer enthusiasm of the Polish people.

Castle in the center of Warsaw is definitely "a must" for travelers in Warsaw. Adjacent to the main square, near the old town, castle and museum to go through them to get to know some local history. Beautifully arranged and displayed in a welcoming, equal to deliver two hours instead. We enjoyed.

Lovely area, very well kept and the tree made it extra special. We also went sure the day, someone inside opened a window and play the trumpet to everyone outside which was lovely.
