I really enjoyed this museum!

The museum was made up of so many pieces of art and paintings and was done in such an interesting way, where it was by theme rather than by decade or artist. I also found it... read more

So yes it's more of a gallery of art and pictures. One the greatest National Galleries I've visited. They have audio guides and other digital interaction methods. I learnt alot about Polish history from this visit. Spent around 3hrs...And I didn't bother to visit the Old Masters Section.

It is an obligatory place to see in Warsaw. There are hundreds works, some of them really amazing. I believe that there is the biggest painting in Poland-it has almost 10 meters.

The museum was made up of so many pieces of art and paintings and was done in such an interesting way, where it was by theme rather than by decade or artist. I also found it refreshing to see some Polish art and to discover new art which I had never seen before. One little thing which let it down... More

I was pleasantly surprised that there was no admission. Perhaps due to the free Tuesday there were many school classes. It was a bit noisy at times, but this isn't a library. A part of the first floor was closed but there was plenty to see. Check out the lunch at the restaurant in the basement. Taking pictures is accepted.

I travelled from England to visit this museum and found that the Egyptian room is currently closed!!!! Damn and nothing on their website to say so, so I wasn't happy. Luckily there are still a few artifacts to be found if you look hard enough and I got a wonderful book on their Egyptian collection, even if it's all in... More

I don't usually go to large national museums, but spent a good 5 hours here. It was a delightful afternoon. I like the layout of the whole museum as well as the displays. Some great stuff here. Definitely liked having the audio set. Had coffee in the cafe downstairs and liked the atmosphere and wifi! Time went by so quickly.

Very fine collection of Polish artists. I loved it... it is well worth the price! Some sections were closed but there is still plenty to see.

When you pay full price for entry you expect all parts, or at least most, of the museum to be open. Unfortunately whole sections were closed for whatever reason

Visited the 20th Century art gallery (my personal preference) and enjoyed some interesting pieces of art. Especially enjoyed the recent acquisitions in the cellar: "DEMONS" a mid 80's large colorful painting by Korolkiewicz and an amazing portrait drawing created within Auschwitz in 1944.
