Very fine collection of Polish artists. I loved it... it is well worth the price! Some sections were closed but there is still plenty to see.

When you pay full price for entry you expect all parts, or at least most, of the museum to be open. Unfortunately whole sections were closed for whatever reason

Visited the 20th Century art gallery (my personal preference) and enjoyed some interesting pieces of art. Especially enjoyed the recent acquisitions in the cellar: "DEMONS" a mid 80's large colorful painting by Korolkiewicz and an amazing portrait drawing created within Auschwitz in 1944.

As you might know, or not, the nazis tried to destroy all the Polish artwork during the world war, but the people and most of the art folks made a huge effort and some of them put their life in risk to preserve and save most of the art that is displayed here, it's a great display and surely deserves... This is a world class museum that is a must for art lovers. The Faras Gallery is only one of two places in the world to see the artifacts collected from the Faras Cathedral. This collection of Nubian frescoes is in a gallery that follows the plan of the cathedral. The ancient church is now under water in Lake Nassar.... More

The museum is huge and the exposition is brilliant if you like old history. Some of the sculptures and paintings are breathtaking. Highly recommended ;)

Supervisers follow you nervously everywhere and as a bonus i had to carry my belongings in a small plastic bag as i wasn't allowed to take my bag (it is a small backpack). This never happened before, not even at polin where you go through a metal detector!!! Not enough places to just sit and enjoy the art. The floors... More

As I never heard of the museum in warsaw, I wasn't expecting much. But even so, I was very impressed with the organization and quality of the art pieces in the museum. It is big enough to keep you inside for at least one hour, if you like museums, and was full of visitors, so maybe I was ill informed... More

The museum is a must see if you have the time while in the city. It has exhibitions of Medieval Polish art, 19th century Polish paintings, 20th and 21st century Polish art as well as a temporary feature exhibition. The temporary exhibition was from the National Museum of China and featured artifacts from the Chinese dynasties. The store at the... More

The museum shows the most popular paintings of Polish modern history (and more). Wi-fi is great. Another plus (though a sad one) is that there are not many visitors (Friday afternoon), so it is very convenient compared to more popular museums in Western countries. If you are in Warsaw and you like museums, a must see!
