The entrance on the former Royal Route is particularly attractive. We passed it numerous times both in daylight and at night and it looked impressive. This is the main campus of a vast university that in total comprises over 120 buildings around the city, though many are in the environs of the centre. The entrance looked wonderful at night-time, and... More

University of Warsaw is Polands largest university and is a grand Place to visit. The campus area is alive and bouncing and the architecture here is awesome. As with most of Warsaw this area was destroyed by the German army in 1944 but rebuild to its former glory post war. The location could not be better either being on one... More

The university of Warsaw occupies a central location and several ancient buildings as well as more recent ones. A stroll across the premises of the university is almost a must have.

I walked around this campus which is lovely and centrally located. There's great buildings and grounds and lots of fun activities going on while I was there including a hot air balloon display. Lovely spot for a stroll.

The university is in the location of the Novy Swiat which is where many monuments and commemorative sculptures exist. There are historical buildings but most of these are replicas of the originals since 85 percent of Warsaw was destroyed by the Nazi's during a WWII occupation. We spent a few minutes walking around the gardens and looking at the architecture... More

You don't get to see everyday that such big campus have such a great location. Great entry with park. Truly a symbol of how important education was to the people who planned it and build it.

The university has some great buildings. It adds to the liveliness of the Old Town - a great asset. Just walk through. No one bothers you.

This review is "biased" because I am a graduate of Warsaw University. It is always a sentimental journey to visit it again. The historic buildings are now beautifully renovated and the University is an integral part of Warsaw's most beautiful and prestigious street: Krakowskie Przedmiescie. I am submitting this review just to post a few of photos! I would encourage... More

This is an old university located in the Nowy Swiat area. Very good architecture. Big campus and full of youths.
