It is well worth making the trip to go and check out the university gardens on the roof of the university library. You can walk up the outdoor stairs and get a great view of the river. There are streams and ponds and plenty of shade searing and lawn areas to just stay and enjoy.

Really a wonderful chance to go for a walk through the university, as that alone is a pleasant experience. To see the youth rushing around, ready to take their new found knowledge to the world. This modern and hip city is quite amazing.

Another example of period architecture mixed with atmosphere of a buzzy academic institution. A must see as it is set back from the main road and the university is housed behind the gates.

We went to see the rooftop garden. It was a longer walk than we expected. Nice view, but not much to the garden.

We were completely surprised of this place. This is a symbol of modern Warsaw.
Our guide took us here and we dont regret that we decided to visit this place. Go to the roof of the library to find there...a garden.

The library is already 10 years old, but still beautiful and exceptional part of Warsaw landscape. Inside there are cafes, boutiques and restaurants. The roof garden is just great, you see the river and Praga disctict. Free entry!

I walked around this campus which is lovely and centrally located. There's great buildings and grounds and lots of fun activities going on while I was there including a hot air balloon display. Lovely spot for a stroll.

We only had a look from the outside but the entrance to the University is just beautiful and in the middle of the Krakowskie Przdemiescle.
