What a lovely place. Why are there no guide books to Warsaw? The whole city is magical and the Old Town is rich in heritage, culture, restaurants and bars.

This is the place to be in Warsaw on a Friday or Saturday evening! I had my best New Year's eve ever at a restaurant here for dinner and dancing. Be sure to watch the ice skaters in winter.

A beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere. It is hard not to fall in love in the Old City. Old houses, boutique restaurants and cafes. Just a great experience. You could go around the old city for at least 3 hours. Fun and highly recommended Really, really should not be missed.

Every time I vist warsaw for me is the "must" to go for a walk to Old Town. On my way there are places to stop and seat down with inscriptions about what is around(little maps). And there's something extra .When you push the button the music start. I like the idea , mostly because I love Chopin.

You have to admire the Polish people for their commitment to their city. Although you can throughly enjoy wandering around what seems like the ancient cobbled streets ... you are in fact wandering around the reconstructed area of Old town which was obliterated during the war. It is only through the rebuilding from photographs that this area exists.

Very quaint and definitely worth visiting. Places to see and explore within the town but too many tourist shops!

The old town of Warsaw has been beautifully restored since the war and takes its rightful place amongst the most charming of Europe's capital cities. You can see most of it on foot in a day and there is a toytown train that takes you on a longer tour than you would manage on foot. Warsaw is not big and... More

We loved Old Town. We visited in early January, so the Christmas lights were still on. The atmosphere was great, lots of nice shops to see and the Christmas market was still on - it was really quaint. A great choice of restaurants as well, all types of cuisine, with no outrageous prices! We saw round the Royal Palace -... More
