Great history and old European fee. This is a must stop if you are visiting Warsaw. Very close to many of the must see sites in Warsaw.

If this is what the original Old Town looked like, it must have bee wonderful. Nice reconstruction, cobblestone streets, weather building facades. Lots of shops, great restaurants on the squares, good pubs, buskers - actually, pretty much everything you want and expect in an Old Town. Friendly, helpful people, lots to see and do.

Dont plan on what to do here . Just walk and do as you want . Sit and watch the world go by . But do visit every lane here . Each holds a historical marvel .

Old Town of Warsaw is unique in the sense, that it is by fact not old, but newly rebuilt, after the 2nd World War. So it is by far not the feeling of old Barcelona, Rome etc, but also showing and proof of the vitality of Polish people, who have built up its capital from the scratch and ashes! In... More

A small town centre but packed with beautiful stuff. You may lose yourself in the labyrinth-like roads but its fun to navigate through these. The mermaid will mesmerize you. Look out for the souvenir shops dotting the way and the food stalls to pick up some polish snacks.

It is very poignant to visit this square. Knowing that it was destroyed during the war, and rebuilt with such care to look as it did before the war, is a testament to the people of Warsaw.

The old town is a very pleasent place to visit and to have dinner. In the middle of the old town there is a plaza with rounded by very good restaurants in a nice atmosphere. I strongly recommend to visit that place in Warsaw. Take a time to visit the Palace nearby and some churchs that are situated close of... More
