Old Town is the most characteristic zone of Warsaw, and it is surely worth a visit! It is full of restaurants, ice cream and waffle shops and it is always crowded! (I don't recommend going to Warsaw during Easter though, because almost every shop [except some restaurants] is closed!)

Colourful buildings, nice alleys and good ambience. Don't really know what else to say, I'd definitely check it out but it was raining when we went so we ended up taking shelter from pub to pub before giving up and heading back to the apartment. The underground pubs were interesting although whether or not they were actually Irish pubs is... More

Visited Warsaw April 2017, the Old Town is very beautiful with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants for you to stop at and watch the world go by. Prices very cheap compared to the UK. Everywhere we visted we found the staff spoken English and all had English menus so there was never a language barrier.

Lovely buildings very typical of Polish cities. Amazing to think that this was all rebuilt after World War II. Bars and restaurants a plenty to sit and people watch.

It is beautiful - and worth visiting for sure. we enjoyed it very much. There are no - not really beggars which was pleasant, we meet only one, and he was sneaky...and different from what we've seen elsewhere.

Fun place!! But do not use the taxies that are on the sidewalks!!! We asked ahead of time the price, and were charged more than double upon arrival!!!!! The driver was super rude and yelled at us for not closing the door tight enough in Polish... we didn't even know what he was saying!! I recommend calling UBER and not... More

We were not expecting much from this "old" town as in historic terms it isn't that old. We were absolutely delighted by our visit though as there was so much to see and so many interesting site notices posted around the town which gave a real feel for what it would have been like to be there during the German...
