We were very fortunate in that when we visited the museum we also stopped by the monument while there we saw a group bring honored atop the stairs at the base of the monument. Clearly, this was a group of survivors. Very moving.

The memorial is pretty, solemn and sober, good place to sit and contemplate the human behavior and our mistakes, or just relax and have some rest while watching people. Any of both is ok.

This memorial is quite large and striking. I marveled at the beauty of the work put into this and the feelings it produced. Worth a quick stop to reflect.

The Jewish Ghetto Memorial is a stunning memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Be sure to go to the side toward the street to see another poignant carving.

The holocaust and the jews are such a big part of Warsaw's history, before visiting Warsaw you should learn a bit about it to appreciate the city and its history. This memorial is moving, and I definitely recommend a visit to pay your respects.
