Good but could be better

Good balance for his life and his music, but with many interactive things not functioning. The downstairs room is better since you can listen to many musical pieces.

This well appointed museum was as informative as reading a condensed biography of the maestro Chopin. He was a lady's man, wrote his music in a crabbed, pinched handwriting, and was one of those geniuses who came alive in his music writing. There is a great hands-on exhibit in the lowest floor.

This was one of our reasons for traveling to Warsaw for two days and it was as described in TripAdvisor reviews: mediocre. It lacked a coherent flow and seemed randomly, it at all organized. There were a few interesting exhibits, but out of context with ones next too them. There were ultra-modern, user interactive displays that just seemed to lose... More

Another very interactive museum in Warsaw, basically everything it's interactive somehow, you can make the piano play the music on the book, you can hear the music wrote down on papers, pay attention to all the details because you might miss some interaction because they are not all very clear. The museu holds maybe the greatest collection of Choppins memorabilia... More

Even though some of the exhibits and interactive displays were not working, my wife and I ran out of time to thoroughly view the entire exhibition, that is, over 6 hours. If you are a music enthusiast and even more if you are a Chopin music admirer, then this is the place to visit. I don't seem to understand the... More

Nice building. An interesting tour for Chopin's music lovers. Not much for the average crowd. Many interactive screens and audio just do not function properly.

I love how the museum is set up... It's the perfect balance between showing his music and his Life. Some rooms have really unique designs. It's definitely worth a visit. Also!! DO YOUR RESEARCH AND PLAN AHEAD because on some days you'll get in for free!

We had higher expectations than what it provides. Much attention is given to documents and his life. This is OK, but Chopin is about Music!! There is a nice room downstairs where you can listen to his different compositions, but that is 1 table a person, and the attractive tables are busy, of course. We would recommend 2 or 3... More

A visit to Poland is incomplete without visiting this museum, that immortalizes one of Poland's big heroes, Chopin.

A very modern interactive museum and the audio guide is a must . It plots his life from a very early age to his passing with lots of original letters and compositions that he wrote .

Thank Peter M
