Touring Lake Bled and on the way to Vogel Ski Resort we stopped at various places off the road to see parts of the river in Triglav. Just picturesque place and crystal clear water. You can stop at many places to hike or just sit by the quite shorelines and relax or read. Breathtaking!

It is really something special. Picturesque Alps, Carst are combined with woods and rivers, interesting waterfalls and some lakes, from Bohinj to Triglav – seven (very small) lakes. When you add some historical places and buildings, for instance kozolci, church Javorca or Russian chapel on Vršič, it is real marvel. Good side of the park is that there is no... More

This hike is NOT for the faint of heart. Damn. It begins with a series of uphill switchbacks that go on forever and when I say forever, I really mean it! There were so many times where we felt like we hit the last turn because we would reach the tippy top of trees and what seemed like an opening,... More

Specially for adventure lovers, too much hiking, too much activities, the hard part is deciding for one. I think a little bit more of segmentation would come handy for this place, just saying Teiglav National Park is to general.

Visited on a gloomy, chilly day and it was still breathtakingly beautiful. Highly recommend for the waterfalls, views, hike, the peace & serenity of low-season. Highly recommend.

Starting from Bled, Treat yourself to a scenic (steep!) drive through the Julian Alps, up the Russian Road, stop for coffee at the Hikers Rest Stop, and over the Vrsic pass and down to Kobarid for lunch. Visit the WW1 Museum and cemeteries there and ponder about how humankind can inflict such brutality on each other. Autoroute back to Bled.

When you are in Bled, you need to take the 30-minute drive to Lake Bohinj and Triglav National Park. The views are stunning, and there are lots of opportunities to explore. We enjoyed the lakeside views of the old church and stone bridge at Lake Bohinj, the journey to the top of the Mt. Vogel ski area with its amazing... More

Triglav National park is a Perl in Julian Alps in Slovenia. You could spent a month wondering around or climbing the beautiful peaks of the Alps. Every visitor can find something for him selves. Highest mountain of Slovenia Triglav is here and probably it is a must for every Slovenian citizen to climb at least once the top of the... More

Slovenia is generally stunning and the national park is beautiful vistas one after the other with clear rivers, turquoise in deep waters, twisting mountain passes beautiful gorges and lakes. Lots of picnic spots and some coffee stops even at the end of season. Nothing not to like.
