We visited in February and saw the lake frozen & thawed. It was a bit of a flying visit en route to our ski holiday but did stop for an hour or so. There is a circular walk around the lake & you can hire boats too. It is overlooked by Bled Castle and is very beautiful indeed.

Spent my time to walk along the lake for 4 hours because I fell in love at the first sight. The water colour is so crystal blue that definitely attracts you to feel in it. Would love to be back there again! Put Lake Bled into "a must see list" when you visit Slovenia.

We did a half day trip organised through Crystal Ski. We left our hotel at 2pm and returned by 645 pm. We spent an hour round the old castle and then drive down to Bled and had 2 hours to walk round and do what we wanted. We chose to walk round the Lake which took us just over an... More

We loved the time we spent at the lake. It was quiet and such a beautiful place. We were there during the off season so we didn't have to deal with crowds!!

Upon arrival after a long day of travel, the first thing we did was walk around the entire lake at sunset. It was wonderful and the views as the light changed were stunning. The walk takes just over an hour of walking, add on all your photo stops and snacks. Recommend all who come to Bled do this walk.

Lake Bled is a gem of a mountain lake. Even though it has turned into a large and at times overrun tourist destination, there is still much to enjoy here. In the summer it can be difficult to find reasonably affordable parking (or any parking at all) I would recommend to head for the ice arena (last turn to the... More
