The views from the Castle are beautiful. I was disappointed that they turned all of the traditional castle rooms into gift shops. I would've preferred to see what it was like from years ago instead of stepping into a shop.
Probably the shortest review you’re going to find here.
It’s around a 15 minute walk to the castle from Lake Bled or you can drive/get a tour there.
It costs €11 to enter, the castle itself is quite basic but gives you one of the...More
Visited the Bled Castle Forge(blacksmith) where we purchased iron dragons made by local craftsman. This is their only retail outlet, right inside Bled Castle in Slovenia. They do impressive work, and the store is staffed by a craftsman who is eager to share his stories....More
We had more than 10 people so we got a 2 euro per head discount on entry. Views of town and the lake are great. The printing press and wine cellar we're closed when we were there. The chapel is also picturesque

The view that you get for 11 EUR (!!) is really beautiful a deserved after the climb up the castle hill. The castle is once again a tourist trap - restaurant, gift shops, but not much more. An attempt was made with some historical artifacts...More
The place one has to see while visiting Bled, to see and learn about the history.
The point with this place is that you may reach it by car, if you have one at the time, by organized tours or simply walk steep hill. During...More

I think its worth going in for the views. What I found to be a rip off is the boat to the island. We paid 14 euro pp to get there, was only given 1 hr, and we had to pay an extra 6 euro pp to enter the church and the museum. I wouldn't recommend doing so tbh. What we really enjoyed was the toboggan ride with the lake as a backdrop-that I would recommend.
