I don't think it's worth it
Jul 2021 • Couples
Admission for students 8.5€. I don't think it's worth it. There is nothing inside and only nice outside. I would definitely not go to this castle several times. There are many other attractions. Rude ticket sellers.

Beautiful view
Jun 2021 • Couples
The view alone is worth the price of admission. With your full price ticket you can do wine tasting or get a print done in the print shop.

Just do it for the views, and the exercise up the hill.

Waste of money and unfriendly stufd
Jun 2021 • Couples
Me and my partner wanted to see the castle. Except it's view it was a real waste of money. We were lucky that we have just payed the students entry (8,50), but normally it would have been 13 euros!!

One of the most shocking things was the woman at the entrance. She was not only unfriendly but also so rude that we almost wanted to turn back. She didn't lose a single word, but stared at us sullenly, as if she herself hated her job so much that she transferred this directly to everyone else. No hello, no thank you, no goodbye.... Nothing. Not even one single word. A friendly woman at the entrance would change the visit in every positiv way. Thank God we had at least one good experience: the employee in the wine cellar. Very, very friendly. He was about to close, but invited us in anyway and gave us the best advice.
Conclusion: nice view, but I would advise everyone not to visit, because it is simply too expensive for what it offers.

Amazing castle, a place not to be missed
Nov 2019 • Family
Bled’s stunning castle is perched on a cliff towering over Lake Bled.
The view from the castle is no less amazing.
Bled Castle can be reached from the town center on foot, but if you are with children, the ascent will be difficult for them.
If you arrive by car, there is a parking lot next to the castle.
Pay attention, it is little hard to walk around the castle with a baby stroller.
The castle is a special place that I think should not be missed

A Castle with a View
Sep 2020
After a few years in Europe, castles still haven't lost their appeal to me, though I know many who are tired of them. If you're in this category of tourist, don't pass this one up. The view is worth the Euros and the easy climb.

Somewhat disappointing
Aug 2020 • Couples
Having done Predjama castle the day before, we were super excited to see Bled castle. Unfortunately, it gives you a geological timeline of Slovenia’s history, and nothing about the castle’s history dispute the €13 entry fee (in addition to €3 parking).
The views from the castle are as good as you’ll ever see! We enjoyed overpriced coffee and cream cake taking in the spectacular view.
The wine cellar was kind of cool, but very small with a limited range. The honey shop was more interesting!

One of the most beautiful views
Aug 2020
Accessible by car or on foot, definitely better on foot for the experience - just under 10 minutes walk. Sports shoes recommended. Tickets are more expensive (13.5 euros), but you can also buy a smaller souvenir or drink coffee with a view on the lower floor.

Mean people at the entrance

The guy at the entrance was so mean and agressive!!! Be aware that a kid accompanied by 2 adults has a free ticket, they won’t tell you...
