Attractive Vintgar gorge

When the weather is wet, be careful because bridges can be slippery, but when weather is warm, there is fresh ait, because of cold water....

I've been there in Oct, 2015, beautiful place. Autumn is the best season for trekking I think. The stream is so clean with crystal color and the leaves are turning to golden, yellow and red.

This has to be one of the most amazing natural attractions that i have ever visited. I am a keen photographer and just couldn't get enough amazing shots here.

You may have read climb over! That's not really possible now because of the gates and there are plenty of signs discouraging it! HOWEVER! If you have some time there is another and just as beautiful option! My wife and I walked from lake bled to the Vintgar end (take some food with you) and as you get to the... More

We visited on a snowy winter day when the gorge walk was closed, and intended to do as others here have described and climb over the gates at the beginning and end of the walk. This isn't possible for anyone who's not spiderman! Two new gates have been added to the beginning and end of the walk that are spiked... More

Don’t miss this walk if you’re in Bled. The walk is very easy and all on the level’ no climbing. We’ve been there in late July so the place was crowded, but still very pleasant.

Unfortunately t was closed (and it will be for some time) because the storm crashed the forest around the path and some parts of the path are damaged. Nevertheless, the first part we could see was amazing... It is worth the time just seeing first hundred meters of the path which are open (even if it says closed ;)
