The clear emerald waters & the stunning scenery - I won’t forget them.
Not will I forget the freezing water (8.5°) into which I dove from one of the rocks. I may be 65 but I’m not going to let the youngsters have all the...More
This is one of the most amazingly beautiful places I've ever been to! We paddle-boarded on the Soca River and the water colour was something I have never seen before, an almost otherworldly iridescent green. This place is every water sports lover's dream. Surrounded by...More

It is a really nice place to come. I think Bled is way overrated and Soča Valley is not promoted enought. You have all this pages and promotions about Bled and just a few words about Soča Valley. It is much better then overexpensive Bled!
We loved this valley. We went to their beautiful waterfall. If you climb up the last part, that could be dangerous especially on a crowded day. We swam in river. We ate at His Franco which was stupendous.
The B108 route looks a fair bit shorter (30-45 mins), and both have the same windy mountain roads through Kranska Gora once you get into Slovenia. Make sure you have a vignette for both country's motorways!
