An excellent little local museum showing how people lived in the past . A well off farmers house so perhaps not a true portrayal of how the local peasantry lived and worked . Excellent displays of wood working tools and well worth the tiny fee

Excellent friendly guides made this visit so intriguing. Learning about the traditional Slovenian family lives pre-electricity, when families were self-sufficient was great. We were able to take our time. Nice little exhibition centre in the lower rooms, loved it.

Small museum, well worth and visit. An enthusiastic lady showed us round and made it an interesting visit. Her English was very limited but she pointed to most of the exhibits and tried to make herself understood.

Small museum showing how it used to be in this part of Slovenia. The custodian spoke good English and showed us around with enthusiasm without overdoing it. It was a very pleasant add-on to a lunch stop in the Kranjska Gora

This was one of the nicest small folk museums. It gives a picture of how families lived when they had to be completely self sufficient. Amazing the tools they had in the past. The black kitchen and the narrow and short couple beds... The house...More
