Wow, what a great food tour! Simona did a wonderful job designing this tour. We not only tried a variety of food in different locations, she shared her knowledge of wine pairings and love for her beautiful city. Not only did we walk away with full bellies, but we had a better understanding of the food history/culture/region of Slovenia. In addition, she talked about architecture, history, art, and even her own life…it felt more like good friends hanging out eating lovely food than someone we just met. I highly recommend this tour, or reach out to her directly if you have something else in mind tour wise.

This food tour was a great experience for me and one of the highlights of my visit in beautiful Ljubljana. Our tour guide Simona was excellent. We learned a lot about Ljubljana, Slovenian culture and history and of course about delicious Slovenian local food and wine. Simona was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The atmosphere in the group (6 persons) was really good and relaxed.

I would highly recommend this tour. Simone was fabulous. This is not only a food tour, but history and culture are included. Lots of great tips and the food and drinks were incredible. A must for your visit to Ljubljana.

Highly recommend this food tour! Maybe as it was a Monday in September, but it turned out to be just my partner and I joining our lovely tour guide Simona, which was great as we had a wonderful chat over the afternoon whilst walking round the old town of Ljubljana.
Simona was an amazing guide and was very knowledgeable about the food, Ljubljana and Slovenia in general. We stopped at different stalls, shops and restaurants for about 7 different tastings including a dessert, as well as having 4 different wines. We were stuffed! My partner is vegetarian and that was well catered for throughout the tour.
I would recommend pre-booking and doing the tour at the beginning of your trip so you can explore the things suggested during the rest of your stay (we took ours a few hours before getting our flight back!).

I cannot recommend this food tour highly enough! Simona curated a perfect afternoon for me and my friend. She expertly selected restaurants, cuisine and wines, all the while sharing with us about the culture and history of her city and country. Not only was all of the food and wine exceptional, but Simona is a super fun person to spend the afternoon with! She highlighted so many interesting parts of the city and shared so much about the cuisines and wines from around the country that I left her company loving Slovenia even more. This tour was an absolute highlight of our trip!

Highly, highly recommend this tour! Our guide, Simona, was fabulous. She is fun, engaging and knowledgeable. We loved that she offered to include history and architecture on the tour also if we were interested, which we were. The food was delicious, as was the wine. My friend and I had the best time! A highlight of our trip for sure!

Yes, I am not a meat-eater and I really enjoyed it (although I'm OK with cheese and eggs.) Just make sure they know your preferences when you reserve the tour. They also have options for vegans.
