Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This bridge was redesigned with heavier hand rails with strong wire due it being specifically designed to hang love locks on it without damaging the structure. I am not a fan of love locks especially when they put them through the lovely bronze statues adoring the rails. I don't understand the need for it.
However, the bridge is not really anything special. It is centrally located in Ljubljana over the canal. It has 3 grizzly looking bronze statues on and around it.
We were lucky enough to catch the Ljubljana dragons promoting love week. It was a bit of fun to get our pictures taken with them.
You can also see the castle from on the bridge and is also a way to the central market.

This is one of the many bridges downtown. The locked are a unique twist. Apparently lovers put on a lock and throw the key into the water below. The statues nearby are modern and intentionally slightly grotesque. It’s a very interesting landmark.

It's actually the bridge that crosses the height of where the butchers' stalls originally stood. In fact there are some left in the market. It's a bridge with several curiosities. It has glass on the sides so you can see the river pass x underfoot (Ljubljanica river). couples leave padlocks. there are very rare sculptures on the railings and a sculpture of adam and eva. sympathetic.

This would be another one of those love lock bridges were it not for 3 abstract sculptures from classical/Christian/Jewish mythology. The bridge does have attractive glass walking belts at the sides along the balustrades, and there's also fantastic views of Ljubljana castle and the central market.

I wasn’t particularly impressed by the Triple Bridge but the Butcher’s Bridge with its incredible (slightly scary) statue in the middle is worth a look. Steps for sitting, statues, and locks, lots of locks. Ideal.

This bridge is in the middle of more popular Tripple and Dragon bridges but more interesting than the two. The bridge has hundreds of colorful key locks on both sides. The locks are so colorful and new, they give you the impression of being put there by the city.

Closely located to the dragon bridge and one of many across in this lovely city. Butchers bridge is full of padlocks over the years from romantic couples, as you find in other cities. The name is reference to the history of the bridge being built, which we found out about on the free walking tour.
It’s not overly whelming and nothing of special nature but worth a brief visit on the trip around the city or via a informative walking tour.
Worth viewing in the day and lit up at night as passing by.

Hung a lock there honoring my father and his Slovenian dad. Beautiful area. Right by the market. Much to see and do.

One of the several bridges in Ljubljana designed as a "floating square" of the city. Surely a LOT of padlocks and interesting composition of stone and glass. Good bars nereby and some strange statues representing contemporary art. Central market is just near the bridge. Reachable in couple of minutes from the central square as almost everything in Ljubljana center.
