Originally gothic building, than baroque renovation with some Venetian inspiration. Before all the weddings took place here, bu now they are at the castle. Next to the town hall is a beautiful replica fountain of Francesco Robba, the original is in National gallery.

We were surprised, and thrilled to find this beautiful, historic building open to the public when we arrived late on a Friday evening. We enjoyed learning about the many awards received by the city - and some of the incredible history. Thank you for so many great experiences in the beautiful and incredible city of Ljubljana. We will be back... More

Interesting building from the late 15th century with old Renaissance courtyard with frescoes. Check also the exhibitions (there are several spaces for them)! In the July 2016 there were very informative exhibition depicting how the big part of Ljubljana has been transformed into a car-free zone during the last years.

If you take a walking tour of the city you will probably meet on the steps. First stop is in the courtyard where you will see the statues and wall paintings depicting the history of the city. There is a painting of the plan of the city in, I think, the 17th century and coats of arms of the city... More

Historical value, showcases city beautifully, centrally located, and easy to get to. Need a guide who can explain the interior and city accolades.

If you decide to join the free walking tour of Ljubljana, you'll visit this site. If you don't, you can see the outside of the building from restaurant Gujzina or see if as wander the streets of Ljubljana.

The City HAll is in a 15.th century building. You can visit the ground floor, where you can admire some graffitti paintiongs on the walls, fountains and also some modern exhibitions.
