IF you are interested in architecture and Plecnik's legacy, then this is worth a visit. We went on a very rainy day and didn't get most out of the garden, but it was still a great experience.

Easy 15 minute walk from centre . Tourist Train makes a stop near here as well.
Arrived in time for 10am tour (tours on the hour and closed Mondays). Entrance is 6 euros but included with the wonderful Ljubljana card.

peaceful place, good informative guided tour for architecture lovers. Nice permanent exhibition, as well as contemporary: Plečnik and Rothmayer: Two friends, Two Houses, Two Cities. Enjoyed reading about his life and work.
The guided tour was a real treat with excellent English and our guide was able to answer all our questions. It really helped us understand Ljubljana’s architecture, having learnt so much about Plecnik.
We had a few hours open in the afternoon after Lake Bled and visited Plecnik House.
Its an easy walk from the center of Ljubljana.
Tours are timed on the hour.
Got there early and spent the time in the lovely garden.
