Really sad after visiting the MAO today, had high expectations, but ended in "this is it?". Saw better exibitions made by high schools. I cannot recomend it.

It is not complicated to find this castle in the eastern part of Ljubljana. Building is near the highway (exit Fužine), near the pathway of remembrance and easily reachable by public transport – line 20 or 22, last stop. For drivers they have free parking...More

Positive points: - at the time of our visit, one of the exhibitions was about "The Century of the Poster" and was interesting (no guide available but all key explanations in English). - the building (small castle) itself, boarding the Ljubija river, is cute. However,...More

We visited the museum as it is currently hosting the BIO exhibition. The museum has an interesting fit out with ramshackle parts left exposed. Parking was a little difficult and the museum is outside the city centre but we thoroughly enjoyed our stop there.
