Basillica of Our Mother of Mercy. Beautiful outside and inside. It is the oldest Basillica in Slovenia and one of the biggest Churches in Slovenia. The main altar in made from 17 tipes of marble. Worth of seeing.

From outside the brick building looks rather sober. But nevertheless interesting and a fine piece of Architecture. From inside a church with many Art Deco components and as well beautiful due to being very light and simple.

The Franciscan church has light airy feel to it. A tall nave but with open sides and plenty of windows add to this affect. There are some nice murals The mosaics above the entry way are particularly nice.

Not much to this church really. Brown bricks outside and plain simple as well inside. Near the border of the old town where cars are not permitted. Only pedestrians

What is mostly of interest about this church is its beautiful red facade. It waa built around in the 1900s.

The church looks uniquely classic from the outside cuz its red and beautiful in the inside. This is the first church that I visited during my Euro trip and i think it did great as a beginning. Must visit! :)
