This museum is a bit special. It contains a treasure of objects in an incredible variety of categories. It is nice to see although there is a lack of explanation. A pity so few people come to visit.

A museum that shows Maribor history to its visitors. plenty of interesting exhibitions, it's also very interesting for kids. You can learn a lot about Maribor history by visiting this place. It's situated in a former palace right in the centre of the city.

We didn't understood why there are so few people. The museum offers a lot - from roman stones to complete pharmacy from 18. century up to the beautiful rococo steps. It is a must to visit in Maribor.

We expected this to be a small local museum. Not at all - it's a large, varied and fascinating collection. The staff we also attentive and helpful.
