Absolutely beautiful little town. Free parking too which is a bonus and if you visit make sure you go to The Museum of Alchemy and Medicine which was absolutely fascinating.

Lovely walled village. Enjoyed our time walking around. Tourist information center super helpful and friendly. Visited the bee museum. Informative and well done. Had paninis and ice cream at cafe. Visited gingerbread store and chocolate stores.

I couldn't find a place in Bled, so I decided for a Radovljica - full success! A little but beautiful place, and not as expensive as Bled is (accommodation). Recommend!

Radovljica is a beautiful old town. It’s very small and you can visit it in one day, but very close to Bled and other places that are worth visiting. If you go to the city center there are a lot of ups and downs.

We had some fantastic meals in the local town square which has very olde worlde, Austrian style buildings. We stayed at the Pensione Lectar which is a very comfortable hotel with a large variety of food for breakfast. The evening meals were also varied and very good. The service by all staff was excellent.
Excellent coffees and ice creams in the market square. Very friendly locals and shopkeepers alike.
Live music on some evenings although we missed it.

Beautiful old town with lovely old houses and a small square, some reastaurants and coffe. Even if the opening hours are a bit weird comparing what we used to (early closing in Saturday, no shops on Sunday, most of the restaurants close at 18.00 or 20.00), it definetely worths to stop on the way to Bled.

There’s a surprising amount of character in tiny Radovljica with its unusual museums (Alchemy & Beekeeping amongst them), festivals and panoramic situation overlooking the Sava River. But your first stop should be the (astonishingly) free tour given in English by the Tourist Office at 10am each Tuesday. The delightful Natalia puts the history, geography and architecture of the town in perspective and gives you access to the town’s places of interest from the grandest to the smallest.

Most of the little European towns/ villages are beautiful and picturesque, and Radov is one of the prettiest I have seen. It's tiny little decorated shops, the flowers in the balconies, the view of the mountains, the gorgeous Church and some amazing little restaurants. It's a must stop place between Ljubljana & Bled.
