A great intro to Budapest

Kop gave our small group (eight pairs of international travellers) a great introduction to Budapest. He was very knowledgeable about both the city's past and present. I like that the tour was not just a top-10 attractions tour that you could get out of any guidebook. The tour took us to spots in the city that we would otherwise have missed (e.g. the bomb-shelter exit, and the statue of George Washington).

Hungary under the communists

We had a very enjoyable and informative tour, led by Edit, of the time Hungary spent under Soviet occupation. Her stories and tour sites gave us a good sense of just what the Hungarian people had to put up with. Such a failed system, such cowards. We learned also about the 1956 revolution and the aloe of the Hungarian patriots. Let’s hear it for the Hungarian wall breach into Austria!

Amazing Guided Tour with Thomas!

Our family of four has hired dozens of guides all around Europe and Thomas stands out as one of the best. Our kids (10 and 12) were always entertained and all of us learned so much about Budapest while having a great time. We took a private walking tour with Basilica Visit, and even with cold and rainy weather it was fabulous. Highly Recommend!

They must highlight what to expect in this tour. I am 83kgs and I struggled to crawl and moved between those very tiny gaps of rocks. I had near asthma attack. Not for people who are not absolutely fit for this adventure. In ur whole group only 1 person felt comfortable and rest of us (9 people) were just hoping the tour to finish fast. What a sigh of relief when we left the caves.
The tour guide was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with us Ash. We're really sorry to see that you didn't enjoy the Caving Adventure. Please, kindly note that it is clearly highlighted in the tour description that this is a climbing and crawling caving tour, it is surprising to hear that you didn't enjoy the tour and you didn't expect climbing and crawling on such adventure. Also, we constantly get positive feedback for this tour from other customers. For those who don't like narrow gaps we recommend our Cave Walk Tour which is a light walk through the Caving system.

Great Tour!

I had a great experience with Absolute Tours in Budapest! The guide was friendly and informative, offering plenty of interesting facts about the city's history and landmarks. The small group size made the tour more personal, and the pace was just right. My only small complaint was that some of the stops could have used a bit more time to explore. Overall, it’s a fantastic way to see the main sights of Budapest, and I’d definitely recommend it!

A great intro to a lovely city

A great few hours being introduced to this beautiful city. Saw sights we would have missed and learnt so much about the history. Esther was our amazing guide for the tour and spoke with great passion and knowledge. The strudel stop was delicious and the tour ended in the Fisherman’s Pastion with beautiful views of the city and river Danube. A lovely few hours and highly recommended

Fantastic introduction to a lovely city

Our guide Andi was excellent. She made our tour interesting and informative. She also expressed her own opinions which I think is a critical part of a good tour guide. It was a good introduction to the highlights of the city and learning how to use the transit system was an added plus. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Andi, you love your city and it shows :)

E Bike Tour with Yellow Zebra

Yellow Zebra tour with Andrea and the group was lovely!!! Great way to get a birds eye view of the touristy part of the city. Also, really no need for super fitness as E Bike really boosts you up the Buda hill. Totally recommend!

Best Tour Guide Ever

Booked this tour from the website and wasn't sure what to expect. My daughter and I received first class service and a tour of Budapest that we wouldn't have see had we been on our own. There are additional benefits such as cake before you set off and undivided attention from the guide. Monika - you are a star and excellent at your job. Thank you for making the tour very special for us.

Had a great bike tour of Budapest. The city is busy but has good bike lanes in most areas. Great tour guide who gave us good insights into behind the scenes of top attractions and local thinking on current events.
