We booked the Sunset Cocktail Cruise last week. The actual cruise part was lovely and we were able to see some beautiful sights. I suggest taking a cruise, but not using this company. I rarely complain about things, but the way this was set up was extremely confusing and contributed to a worse experience. We had bought the tickets in... More

Take this excursion. Yes, many of these local River cruises are cheesy, don't have great food, and lack the atmosphere. Not this one! Great views, great food, nice service. You will not be disappointed!

If you can grab a chair and take it outside and do it quick as there is limited chairs. Beware as people will come and stand infornt of you. Take a jacket as it's chilly. The cocktails were nice we had sex on the beach and they looked and tasted nice. Make sure you do the latest cruise so you... More

We booked the dinner cruise for our last night in Budapest. I never expect high quality food in these situations so I was content with the offerings. As a vegetarian there were plenty of things to eat on the buffet. The dining room is lovely and our waiter was attentive. I will tell you that your 3 drinks included consist... More

The buffet dinner was good (although the puddings had almost gone by the time we went up). A good choice of Hungarian style fish, meats, vegetables etc. We were seated at a table for 10 with five other couples, and had a very amusing evening with our neighbours on both sides. However - you cant do everything; viz. talk with... More

I booked this as I thought it would be a nice thing for my husband and I to do as we were both celebrating a milestone birthday. Wrong! You have to go to a building in the city to collect your tickets 30 minutes before sailing from quite rude staff which is ridiculous as you are then frog marched across... More

Although not difficult to find you have to make your way to a theatre and go inside to find the representative who will give you your ticket for the dinner cruise. Then you walk as a group to the boat. On the boat you are divided up depending on your ticket, cruise and drink, cruise and dinner etc. We were... More

The cruise was wonderful and Budapest looks stunning in the night! We took the "cruise and drink" and we were offered two drinks each. The draft beer and the wine were very pleasant! Special thanks to Róbert Vogel who was very polite and gave us pretty nice tips about what to visit!

Thé concert Was very Nice you realy see thé dancer And musician having fun. The dîner is very low level: food of poor quality And quantity not sufficiant. This a self service systèm And very short in time. I recommand to avoid it. The quality vs price is not good at all.

We booked the cruise prior to visiting Budapest through TripAdvisor and we were really looking forward to it. We opted to be collected and dropped off at our hotel and have 2 cocktails included in the price. We were collected at our hotel no problem, we arrived at the boat and lined up, when we got inside everyone was enjoying... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
