    Magnificent
Magnificent. I booked directly with the official website. The audio guide is exceptional. The tour lasts about 45 min to an hour but is loaded with info. The Parliament interiors are a sight to behold. Book early as the spots are filled much in advance. I would rank this the topmost attraction in Budapest for me.

    A must see in Budapest
An absolute must see. I've traveled a lot and see several parliaments, palaces, etc, but this was a wow. You have both an in person guide, as well as a recorded ear piece. When you sign up you need to choose a time slot with your particular language. Not all languages are offered at all times. Our English language recorded guide was a native speaker and easy to understand. Although there are stairs, you can choose to take an elevator. There is a cafe with coffee etc. at either the beginning or end of the tour. You will need to go through security to enter.

    Wow!
Wow! What a building! It is a large beautiful building that literally will take your breath away. Didnt get to explore inside, due to crowds, but walked around to see all we could. View of building from other side of river really shows it size and beauty.

    Pre-book for this great tour
Pre-book online to get your tour or you may be disappointed. They need the tickets printed (not on phone) but the information desk will do this for you quickly if you don’t have a printer at home. The entrance is to the north (up river) of the building and is a visitor centre, gift shop and small cafe. You follow a tour guide but with an audio guide. The tour takes about 45 mins. It is certainly worthwhile and you get to see some of the splendour of the building and the Hungarian crown. You can take photos everywhere apart from the crown room.

    You can change the language!
Well worth going. There were no English language tours available so we booked French but a bit of experimentation with the audio guide and I found you can change the language. Press the two buttons at either side of the bottom of the screen simultaneously and hold them, and that allows you to select any language!

If you don't visit, it's like you've never been to Budapest.
The building of the Hungarian Parliament is just gorgeous. The architecture is beautiful. Unfortunately, when I visited it was not possible to go inside because of some meetings, but the exterior itself is just spectacular and if I can rely myself on pictures from the inside... it is probably the best to have a tour and if you have the opportunity to go inside, go. If it were not for the situation as it was, I would have gone inside for sure. Basically, I am giving it four stars because I didn't have the chance to enter the building, it would probably be five stars if it had been possible. Nevertheless, if you do not visit it, it is like you've never been to Budapest.

    Gorgeous Building
Unfortunately we were only able to walk around the outside, so be sure to book a tour way in advance...especially in English. The building is gorgeous, as are the grounds and views. This building is beautifully lit at night and looks spectacular.

    Amazing!
Visited the Hungarian parliament building this June. Words cannot express how beautiful, stunning and astonishing this building is. It’s more like a majestic palace on the Danube river! Beautiful also inside, recommend the interior tour.

Well worth a visit but book it yourself.
Well worth a visit but do it by yourself by booking ahead either online or in person and then pick up your tickets on the day of your visit. The guide we had Marius was brilliant with extensive knowledge of the history as well as being fun! Tour takes about 1.5 hours and its really worth a look at this opulent interior. Photos are allowed so you have your memories to take home.

    Fantastic tour
We came on an English only tour, the guide was very amusing and informative. This place is opulent and spectacular. We were so pleased that we saw it, it was one of the highlights of our trip. The tour isn’t long enough in my opinion but then lots of people want to visit. There are lifts if you have mobility issues, but then you will miss some of the staircases. Highly recommended.

One of the most impressive buildings in the city. Surprisingly bigger in real life. Gorgeous view around and the quay is nice as well.

Very beautiful and rich with history. Don’t BOOK WITH BOOKING.COM. The stressed arriving early but they showed up late, no obvious sign for the tour. Took 45 minute wait and charged over $20/person compared to booking through the Budapest web site.

The Hungarian Parliament House in Budapest is the top attraction in Budapest and in the top 10 attractions of Europe. It lived up to its reputation and imho, it’s worth the trip to Budapest just to see this! It really defines the city.
We almost missed the tour of the interior but managed to secure the last tickets on our last afternoon. It’s best to book the tickets in advance on their website. A local guide recommended this as some sites overcharge.
The interior is so exquisite and jaw dropping! Imagine a parliament session in such surroundings. The 45 minute guided tour is included in the ticket.

You need to book in advance. It was well worth seeing, but the tickets all seemed to be booked by large tour groups well in advance. I checked online every day and finally managed to get 2 tickets. The audioguide was very good, and they do not allow too many people in there at once. The interior is amazing.

We used the audio tour in English. We had hoped to tour on our own with this option, as I walk slowly, but the group all stays together. There was an option to take a lift, escorted, which I did. The tour was very interesting and informative. A lot of reviews said you couldn’t bring in oversized bags, but I saw quite a few going in. Maybe it’s different if parliament is in session. We went on a Saturday.
As usual, the tour ends in gift shop. We found it odd that the shop sold standard Budapest souvenirs and trinkets. We didn’t see any that were parliament related.

The Hungarian Parliament building was one huge structure decorated with intricate designs. It stood out as an elegant architectural master piece. Complex was extensive. There was a beautiful shallow pond with its thin sheet of water gently flowing over a weir style cascade. Parliament was adorned with majestic sculptures. It showed its stature as an important centre in Budapest drawing great attention. The architectural design won our admiration.

We hadn’t taken the opportunity to book an internal tour, but this is certainly an impressive riverside building on the outside in daytime with some other reviewers photos showing it’s equally impressive at night

Must see in Budapest! Impressive interiors with stunning architecture starting with the gold staircase! Too bad pictures were not allowed in the crown room. A visit should not be missed when in Budapest
