We traveled with a cruise group but didn't book the extension. All our friends said that Parliament was a must see and we agree. Be sure to follow the procedures and book a tour in your language ahead of time. We had to rely on...More

Ok, I'm very impressed by old buildings anyway but this? No photo can do it justice and no description can actually describe how beautiful this building is. We visited in the afternoon, the setting sun was breathtaking against the building. We went for a coffee...More

I saw this twice, the first time in April from a boat at night and the second time I saw both the interior and exterior and had a guided tour. I really recommend a guided tour as the interior is just as spectacular as the...More

Imposing and magnificent! Two words that describe Budapest parliament. We weren’t able to visit inside because you can only visit at specific hours when they have tours. Be sure to check this before you go!

The building is stunning, history fascinating and tour the right length for us, but because we headed over at 3pm, all the English tours were full and we ended up going in French as the only option with spaces was at 8.30 the next morning...More

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
