We took a Hop on/Hop off bus to this location. We enjoyed walking around this large square and contemplating on all the activities that this historic place has witnessed.

This square is stunning and the statues are impressive. We walked around the square trying to get photos of the statues that would do them justice. It was not possible. The park beyond the square was lovely and we walked around it for a while soaking in the quiet sense of history.

We visited the Pest side both daytime and night. The night vist was so very impressive as every building and statue is lighted and prettier at night. The night visit is a must.

The square is beautiful. Especially at sunset or sunrise. Don't skip the beautiful park behind! It has a beautiful lake, lawns and a charming castle which serves as an agriculture museum. There's a metro station just by the square, but walk down andrassie ave. It's beautiful.
