The Zoo is Budapest is a really good one with a lot of different animals which we were able to see. Not many of the animals were hiding like they usually are in Zoos. The only animals we couldn't see were the Rhinos as the...More

Could literally spend all day here if you had the time. We spent around 2 hours but didn't really see all the animals properly as we had other things booked. Definitely worth going to, especially if you have little ones.

What makes a zoo 'good' - a realistic environment for the animals that allows them tons of room to roam (but where customers can't see the animals up close (or even at all) ... Or small enclosures that are nothing like the animals home turf...More

We were using metro and we were walking all the time in Budapest, so I am not sure. But public transport is great!
