There are at least four of these in Budapest (I went to three). The largest and best is not too far from St. Stephen's. You will not see this range of Herend porcelain anywhere else, and the prices are better than in the U.S.

Hungarian Herend porcelain is the finest hand painted porcelain in the world. Whether it is Dinner Service or figurines. Unbelievable quality and only people who are in 'the know' realise it!

I got a set of tea cups and saucers. It's too beautiful to pick out from. It's a bit expensive, but totally worth it.

The Herend figurines and colors are world renowned. The prices here are significantly better than in the United States. If you just want some thing small as an example of the china you can get a 5 inch oval dish for around $80. A great...More

There are two stores that sell directly from the iconic Herend artisan Factory. All the prices are significantly less than US prices for Herend pieces--SIGNIFICANTLY. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the pieces, the Herend process, and conversion rates, and tax refund info....More
