For me this bridge is even nice than the chains bridge.I think this has been recently painted, so it's wonderful bridge.

Budapest has several bridges that cross the Danube River. This one is not as interesting as the Chain Bridge or the Liberty Bridge. It is more modern, as it was built in the 1960's to replace a bridge destroyed in WWII, and is quite plain....More

This along with Chain bridge and Margaret bridge attracts most tourists in Budapest. We stayed in a room overlooking the Elisabeth Bridge. It looks especially good at night with the lights on.

Looks like an ordinary more modern bridge crossing the river compare to the ones on both north and south. Cross the bridge give you excellent views of up and down the river. looks great at night.

Not the most ornate or even nicest looking of Budapest’s bridges during the day, however at night when it’s all lit up it takes on a completely different persona.

This bridge doesn't look like much during the day but at night they have really done a nice job of lighting it up. See photo

Quite striking and clean looking. Also modern looking compared to the Chain Bridge and Liberty Bridge. Lovely anyhow. Only have seen it in the daytime.
