Booked to hire 2 bikes for us to go off and experience Budapest at our own pace. Booked the bikes online and everything seemed good to go. I then emailed asking a question about bike locks. I received an email back saying the booking might not have gone through online, so I emailed back to get some confirmation one week... More

Hello! We'd like to apologize to you and we hope you still managed to have a wonderful time in Budapest. Unfortunately, our shop was in the process of moving to a new location and preparing for the spring / summer season which also includes e-mail and website modifications (that's why the online booking didn't go through). As you can probably... More

Rented 4 bikes today with friends and had a great experience. High quality dutch bikes (batavus). And got a replacement bike immediately after we accidently had a flat tire, ofcourse withoud added costs. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a great experience at Hi-Bike. David was the employee who assisted us and he was extremely friendly and helpful. He gave us some great recommendations on where to go (We rode along the river to the Parliament building and a few other attractions before heading over the bridge to visit the pedestrian-only island with beautiful gardens and a... We had a very nice bike tour through Budapest: The Service was very good, the person was very friendly and made us a special offer. The bikes were really good too, so we could drive up the hill. It is very recommendable to hire a bike here when you visit Budapest.

We hired some scooters for a day, they were great and we were told not to rush back if we're running over time a bit which was really useful! Very friendly and everything is very transparent with the deposit and payment.

Today we went to Hi Bike to rent two bikes for the whole they. We arrived at 10.30 and could use the bikes until 20.00. In total this was 7.000ft, which is about €12 per bike for the whole day. Service was great, and the quality of the bike was fine as well. We were able to see so much... More

My friend and I took an evening bike tour with Gabor Szabo and it was terrible! Throughout the tour Gabor said many bigoted and offensive statements. I am Jewish and I was traveling with a friend who is African American. Gabor made racist and insensitive comments throughout our tour. Among the people he bashed were African Americans, the Jews, people... More

Dear Everybody, I agree, always the clients are the first and always the client is right. But we cannot pay back money based on fictional reasons. Even though we try, we cannot keep off 100% sure from ill-wisher people. This time, happened with our place something like. Unfortunately there are people who like to playing out racist cards to get... More

Went to hire bikes and the opening times said 10-8 so we said we would be back at 3 for them to tell us they are closing at 4pm. So we purchased the bikes for an overnight rental to get most out of it. We came back to store to lock bikes at night and they were still open at... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
