The mission of the Hungarian Heritage House is to resettle the folklore heritage of the Carpathian Basin into today’s and tomorrow’s cultural life. Its ensemble, the world famous Hungarian State Folk Ensemble brings all the genres related to the folk tradition to the stage, from historical music through authentic folk music and folk dance to world music and dance show based on traditional elements. The institute can provide all types of folk activities in Hungary and abroad such as craft and dance workshops, folk concerts, dance houses, folk art markets and exhibitions.
